Abiola's POV

"How do I look?" I asked Konyii who was seated on the chair that faced the pool.

So far, her dad hadn't noticed his gun missing and even though I act all tough and brave on the outside, I am really scared on the inside.

"You look pretty....... Ugly." She rolled her eyes and looked back outside. She just didn't want me to go out with Wale and she had no reason for that.

"I am finer than your ugly ass atleast." I swayed my hips in her front making her slap my ass.

I was dressed in a long white flowery patterned gown that had a V-neck line that wasn't too deep, paired with a silver flat leather sandal that had square shape front. My white painted toe nails on display.

"Rubbish." She hissed and rolled her eyes again. I picked a pink scarf and tied it in a low bun. Picking my large bangle like silver earrings and putting them on.

"Tell me I'm beautiful or someone else would say it." I twirled around using my baby pink hand bag to slap her head playfully.

"You know you're ugly, so just move it." She stood up and walked to where she was charging her phone.

"That's your business. I didn't tell mummy I'm going out, so when she comes back, cover for me. Thanks." I blew her a kiss and walked out of the room with her trailing behind me.

"He's not even fine." She said frowning.

"This is where we both know you're lying." I laughed and turned to her a little.

"OK, out of ten, how many would you give Tobi and how many would you give him?" She asked and it was hard to reply.

Yes, Wale was really handsome, but I found Tobi more handsome with a more matured face. Spotless dark chocolate skin and soft pink lips. Immediately, my mind drifted to the kiss we shared twice. How he had held my waist firmly and kissed me senseless, with me wanting more.

"I asked a question." Konyii said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"I'll give Tobi a six and Wale a nine." I lied, though I would Tobi a ten anywhere, anytime.

"Just keep on lying to yourself and not me." She said in anger and walked pass me. I realised she wasn't exactly angry at me but probably at Ayo and she's using this opportunity to vent it on me.

"What did Ayo do?" I asked her sitting on the island chair in the kitchen.

"He isn't picking up my calls and he isn't calling me back!" She said rolling her eyes. I was right, she wasn't angry at me.

"Give him a breathing space." I tapped my freshly manicured French nails on the countertop.

"Alright I will." She said with anger in her voice and I knew she had misinterpreted me.

"That's not what I meant!" I screeched, sounding horrible.

"Don't sound like that again or you'll chase away that Wale of a guy you're going out with." She said exaggerating.

I rolled my eyes as we both started taking about random things. Though I tried so hard not to let my thoughts drift to Tobi, I couldn't help but wonder what he was doing at that moment. Was he with his new girl? Was he kissing her like he'd kissed me? Has he ever thought of me since he left? Or was I just another girl?

It stung to feel like just another girl he would get away with and have no remorse whatsoever. The fact he didn't even know I was the one that called means he had deleted my number from his phone. I could only see Konyiis mouth moving but I couldn't hear what she was saying. She has a love life that on both party, there is feelings. It's not a one sided love like mine. I got interrupted when I got tapped. I turned around to see the Butler standing beside me.

"There's someone outside looking for you." The old man said in his very calm voice.

"Ok, I'll head out now. Bye babe." I blew Konyii a kiss and walked to the door, not waiting to hear an insult from her.

I got outside to see Wale standing there, resting in his black Audi. I smiled as I approached him and he also had a smile on.

"Good afternoon Queen." He said bowing a little a picking my hands up for a kiss. I giggled like an highschool girl and looked away, trying to hide the blush on my face.

"Good afternoon." I said still smiling and flushed from the gesture.

"My queen is looking very pretty, she just never goes for less I see." He commented making me blush harder again.

"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself." I said and realized that's the only compliment I've said to him since we've been meeting.

He led me to the passenger side of his car and opened the door for me while I stepped in carefully, not wanting to make a stupid mistake and embarrass myself. He went over to the driver's side and got in also. We both used our seatbelts while he started the car.

"So... Where are we going?" I asked immediately we were both settled.

"Somewhere fun." He replied curtly with a smile on his face. I wonder if he ever frown.

We drove for sometime before I realized where we were going.

We drove trying to find a parking space on a Saturday in the busy park. He had taken us to an amusement park.

We finally found a spot and parked there. We walked inside and I felt him holding my hands, I didn't complain though.

"Two unlimited bracelets please." He asked the blonde girl behind the counter that was staring at him shamelessly. I rolled my eyes and looked away. I thought of how if it was Tobi, I would have probably plucked her eyes out of their sockets. I had also asked to pay which he had rejected, saying her invited me so he should pay.

We walked further into the park and I couldn't help the baby part of me to take over. I ran to the pirate ship dragging him along. He chuckled following me in quick strides.

"I see you like the park?" He stated it more like a question.

"Love. I love it." I replied shortly and walked up to the long line of people.

After standing for almost ten minutes, it was our turn. We gained access with our bands and walked into the pirate ship and sat down, he sat down near me shortly.

I gripped his hands tight as the ship Began moving after we were all settled. Though I loved going to scary and risky rides, I was really scared. It began moving faster and most of us on the ride began screaming. I couldn't say which one was mine, as all the voices faded into one. Soon, the rides was over and we came down.

"You were really scared there." He mocked me, chuckling. I laughed.

"I get scared, let's go on that one." I said pointing to the one that flips upside down. He looked at me weirdly and smiled.

"You sure about that?" He asked quiet amused.

"Yes, I won't shout." I said unsure of myself.

"Let's go then." He smirked as we went there. The line wasn't too long, since it was really scary and most parents weren't allowing their kids on such ride. If my mom was also here, she always picked less scary rides, saying I'm her only child and she can't bear to lose me all in the name of fun.

The ride started slow and steady, making us prepare for the most fun and scary part. When it began going really fast and then the first flip, my heart almost jumped out. Then the second with was more than the first, I almost passed out. The teenager by my side had passed out making me and her brother laugh at her misery before she got tapped again only for her to pass out after the third flip again.

We went on rides after rides and it was really fun. I had been the one choosing and he would always laugh and mock me at how I had reacted, I would playfully glare at him and we would both laugh. He would take unexpected pictures of me and sometimes I would just turn and then he would capture it and show me. In was smiling in all the pictures.

We were finally on the last ride for the day and it was the roller coaster. We sat beside eachother and I looked out the window and admired the different colors of lights beneath us. Suddenly, he moved closer to me and we almost kissed but I pulled away. I couldn't kiss him, I just felt like it wasn't right kissing him, since the stupid image of Tobi won't leave me. I felt like I was cheating on him, even though we are no where close to dating. I felt bad at how his mood changed, but he just smiled, which surprised me.

"I'm sorry.. I just..."

"Shh, it's ok." He cut me off smiling. "I was too fast." He smiled again and I looked at my fingers.

We came down of the ride and walked to the car in silence. The drive back to my house too was deafening and I knew it was because of what happened.

"Next time?" He asked as he parked in front of my house gate.

"Sure." I replied after I realized he meant another date. He missed and pecked my right hand before driving off.
