CHAPTER FIVE
THE EXAM
It has been two weeks since the meet up with Emica and Asami has yet to ask Yuzuru about Anne-Sophie's pregnancy pictures with Tamaki and her. She is scared to find out whatever hidden secret there is because she feels that it will ruin her image of Yuzuru and Emica in her mind. What if what Emica was implying turns out to be true somehow? Or maybe she was hinting at something else that Asami has yet to think about? She has decided to throw any concerns about their relations out of her mind since she was bigger things to worry about.
Every week day, Asami has continued to attend finishing school and Kojima told her that their time together will come to end in a week. She honestly thinks finishing school is still a waste of time. Who needs to know how to properly hold a cup of tea? Or how to put your fork and knife on your plate to indicate if you want more or if you are done eating? Or how to sit with your ankles crossed, back straight and hands resting on your knees when wearing a skirt or dress? Or how to balance two books on top of your head as you walk? All of these etiquette lessons are a bore and Asami is overjoyed that there is only one more dreadful week of finishing school because she feels ready to explode. If she has to see Kojima for more than a week, she will most likely end up punching him.
The five cats — Snowball (a female white Maine Coon), Salem (a male black cat), Gremlin (a male Siamese cat), Tink (a female calico cat), and Kiki (a female British Fold cat) — have made the second mansion their home. Yuzuru, while a bit angry, allowed the cats to stay and even forced the maids to make a cat room for them. The cat room is full of climbing shelves, cat beds, cat toys, catnip, and anything else a cat could want along with five litter boxes and food/water bowls. A vet was also hired to take care of the five cats if any illness arise. They were all spayed and neutered at the cat cafe so that was not a concern. Asami is grateful that Yuzuru is able to give these cats the love of luxury they deserve. One thing about the cats that Asami finds amusing is how clingy the male cats are. The two are more affectionate towards Asami than the female cats are. The female cats are more aloof, only searching for Tamaki and Asami when they need some pets and then they vanish. The male cats are usually always in Asami's room, trying to lay on her lap. She finds it endearing and is overjoyed that she has become their chosen person (which made Tamaki a bit salty).
This Saturday, Asami is stuffing pencils and her calculator into a backpack along with snacks and waters. The exam for Ouran High School Academy is today at noon and she needs to be prepared. Her future will be determined from the score she gets on her exam. If she fails, she'll have to take the Lobelia Girls' Academy exam considering that's the only other high school she has any interest in. She is slightly nervous, worrying about whether or not she has studied enough to pass. She knows that even if she does fail, Yuzuru can pull some strings and allow her in but that feels like cheating. She wishes more than anything to pass so she can go to school with Tamaki and his friends. The host club members have come over more often in the last two weeks which made Tamaki both happy and unhappy. He is happy that Asami is making friends but he is unhappy that the heathen twins are now considered her friend — thought she hardly considers the twins friends compared to the other host club members. Out of everyone, Asami has grown closer to Mitsukuni. The energetic second year made it hard for her to push him away like she tried to with everyone. Since she got closer to Mitsukuni, she has also gotten closer to Takashi which she is certainly not complaining about. Kyoya and Asami are still iffy with one another since neither are too sure what to make of the other, but they are getting closer since Kyoya understands her emotional and mental struggles. They also found common ground when it came to making the magazines. With Asami's input on how to edit and stage the pictures to please girls more, the magazines have sold more copies than ever in the last two weeks. Asmai does not mind Kaoru, but Hikaru never fails to get on her nerves. He always has something stupid to say and Kaoru is the one that has to save the conversation.
A soft sigh escapes her as she zips up her back and slings it over her shoulder. She is not too sure if she'll see the twin boys today or not. She suspects that their mother probably already secured them a spot into the academy so there would be no point in them taking the exam. She glances at her phone as it dings and lights up to showcase the group chat between her, Hikari, Kaori and Kazuki. The four decided that they need to talk more after her visit to Shirakawa. She picks it up, unlocking it to reveal a series of text messages.

Asami tucks her phone into her pocket. A knock snaps her out of her thoughts and the door slowly opens to reveal Tamaki. He smiles at her, stepping into the room with his hands behind his back as if he was hiding something from her. "Asmai, are you ready? Are you nervous? Do you want me to come with you?"
She narrows her eyes and approaches him, trying to peak at his back but he avoids each attempt. "What are you hiding?" She asks while ignoring his other questions.
"Something to help you today," he replies and brings his hands to the front to reveal an onamori. Her eyes soften and she holds her hand out. He gently places the red charm bag in her hand. A smile crosses her lips while she cradles it.
"Thank you." She yanks him into a tight hug. "I appreciate it." As she pulls away, she spots a spider in the corner of the room — another sign of good luck. It looks like the world is giving Asami a sign that today will be going her way. She will pass the exam and get into Ouran. "You can come with me, it'll be nice to have someone to talk to on the ride there and maybe we can go out to eat afterwards."
"I'll like that." He comments, a happy gleam in his eyes. Their relationship as siblings has been steadily improving and Asami is truly grateful for that. She does not know how well she would've adjusted to her new life without Tamaki beside her. He has helped her in more ways than he knows.
•••
Asami knew Ouran High School Academy was large but she did not expect this. Her blue eyes are wide in terror as she slowly turns her head, trying to see how large the school truly is. How do people not get lost everyday? It is nearly the size of like six football fields. The buildings remind her of mid-19th century France architecture and everything is a shade of pink with lavender undertones.
"Isn't it lovely?" Tamaki sighs, smiling up at the academy.
"Too big," she whispers in horror.
"The exams are typically in the auditorium so I'll escort you there." He links his arm through hers and degas her into the main building. If the outside was lavish, the inside puts that to shame. Everything seemed to come out of one of those famous celebrities homes. Her mouth is wide open as she tries to take in her surroundings while Tamaki blissfully ignores her shock. He got use to everything quite quickly and he assumes she will too. "Here you are," they stop in front of two giant doors. "There will be a person at a desk that you have to go and get a number from. Good luck on the exam, I'll be in Music Room 3 so come find me afterwards." He squeezes her hand before releasing her and leaving. She stares at the doors, wondering if it was a good idea for someone like her to come here. She never experienced this type of richness in her life. She grew up poor in a small village where she was lucky if her mo—Emica cooked different meals everyday. Most of the time, she cooked one giant meal every couple days and they would eat the leftovers in between. She nervously pushes the doors and notices hundreds of desks. Most people are in groups, probably coming from the same middle school, and are hurriedly studying last minute. She sees the person Tamaki told her about and approaches the desk.
"Name?" The person asks, his head resting in his hand with a bored expression on his face.
"Souh Asami," she replies. He perks up a bit at her name. A few people nearby overheard and are glancing at her while whispering. Everyone in Japan has heard about Asami and her kidnapping case. She guesses she needs to get use to the stares and whispers if she wants to go back to school in-person.
"Number 353." He hands her a piece of paper. "You'll be in the very back." She nods her head and heads to the back of the room, glancing at the numbers on the desks she passes by. She finally spots the 350s and heads into that aisle. She is pretty close to the middle aisle of the room so she would easily be able to leave after this is over. She sits down and glances to her right to see a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes. She is wearing an old looking sweater with brown jeans and black tattered shoes.
"Hello," Asami greets the brunette sitting next to her, "my name is Souh Asami, are you nervous?" She waits to see a reaction to her name, but receives none. She may have found the one person in the room who doesn't know who she is. A relieved smile comes to her face. Maybe she can make a friend. She takes out a water bottle, her calculator, her snacks, and pencils and organizes them on her desk.
"Fujioka Haruhi," the girl greets back, "I think I'm more nervous being surrounded by rich people than taking the test." Asami laughs, nodding her head in slight agreement.
"I understand that. I grew up in Shirakawa, a small village and we don't have a high school there so I had to transfer somewhere." Asami informs her, deciding to leave out everything else. "It's weird seeing...how large and lavish everything is."
"Rich people have nothing better to do than over decorate everything to show their status." Asami snorts at her words. She feels like Tamaki would have a heart attack if he ever met Haruhi.
"Asami!" A voice cries out. The two girls turn to see Kazuki rushing towards them. "What number are you?"
"353, what number did you get?" She asks.
"145," he sulks, "I guess I won't see you until after the exam then." He notices the girl next to her and bows. "Hello, I'm Hayami Kazuki. I went to middle school with Asami."
(Little note: I keep forgetting they introduce their last names first and then their first name so ignore last chapter where I had them introduce their first names first, thank you (: )
"Fujioka Haruhi, it's nice to meet you." Haruhi greets back. Before any of them could anything else, the person at the desk stands up and claps his hands.
"Attention! The exam will be passed out in two minutes. We will begin the exam in ten minutes. My name is Chū Shō and I am your proctor for today. Please find your seats now." He announces.
"Damn, I wanted to talk more." Kazuki sighs. "Good luck." He smiles and waves goodbye at the two before heading more towards the front of the room. After two minutes, papers begin to be passed backwards from the front row.
"Good luck." Everyone says to each other as they pass the papers. Asami's and Haruhi exchange an encouraging smile.
"You will have three hours to complete this exam. Begin!" Shō states. Asami flips her paper over, quickly writing her number on the front. In order to avoid name basis from the scorers, everyone puts the number they are assigned on the paper. Only the proctor knows which number belongs to who and will reveal the people who get in. When a person passes their exam, they will then be called in for an interview with the scorers and chairman. The person will be questioned about their financials, family, past schooling, connections, and how Ouran Acadmey can help them. They make the final decision if the person attends the school. The interview is what she is most nervous about. Asami is breezing through the mathematics and Japanese portions of the exam. She takes a small break by drinking her water and eating one of her snacks. Her eyes glance at the clock to see she has two hours left to complete the English, social studies and science portions. She leans back, stretching her arms above her head and sighing in relief as her back cracks. She cracks her knuckles and how's back to taking her exam. The two hours go by fairly quickly.
"Time is up!" Shō yells out. Asami immediately puts her pencil down. They pass their exams back to the front row. She watches as fifteen scorers enter and begin to collect the exams. "If you passed, you will get a call tomorrow about what time and day you interview is. If you failed, you would not get a call. All calls will be made by 8:00 p.m. so do not wallow and continue waiting for a call after that time. Dismissed!" Asami packs her things away.
"I hope to see you again." She says to Haruhi, slinging her bag over her shoulder.
"I'm sure we will," Haruhi waves goodbye and leaves. Asami pulls out her phone to text Tamaki for a map of the school considering she has no idea where Music Room 3 is.
"Hey, Asami, wait up!" She glances up to see Kazuki approaching her. "How do you think you did?"
"Everything was pretty easy. The only question that stumped me was an English question where I had to read the passage and answer questions about what certain phrases meant in the context." She informs him. Her phone dings and she looks to see that Tamaki sent her a map with a red line that shows what path she should follow. She smiles softly, grateful that her brother is helpful. "How about you?" She starts to walk and Kazuki follows her fairly quickly.
"I don't know," he scratches the back of his head with a sheepish look, "I thought I studied enough but there were quite a few questions that confused me. I just hope I get enough questions correct to barely pass and then I can wow them in the interview."
"I'm not looking forward to the interview," she grumbles.
"Why not? Your dad will be there." He questions.
"That's exactly why, I don't want to feel like I didn't deserve my spot in the school. What if my dad overrides the other scorers' decision on me? Plus he'll probably ask me easy questions." They begin to ascend up the large castle like stairs.
"I don't think he would. The other scorers would judge you more harshly if they saw any favoritism towards you from him. He'll probably pretend that you're just another student." A phone dings and Asami watches as Kazuki pulls out his phone. He puffs his cheeks out, glancing up at her after reading whatever text he got. "My mom is here to pick me up. I'll text you later?"
"Sounds good, tell your mom I say hi." Asami waves goodbye to his retreating figure when she finally finds Music Room 3. She opens the door only to be met with a bunch of roses flying in her face. She coughs violently, hitting her chest a few times because she is sure she inhaled a few rose petals.
"Hello," two sets of arm wrap around her, "how cute, you couldn't stay away from us, could you?" She immediately knows that the arms around her belong to the pesky twins. She wiggles out for their arms and shots them an annoyed glare.
"What's up with the roses?" She questions.
"Every girl likes to be drowned in roses," Tamaki gushes as he rushes over and hugs her, "how did the exam go?"
"Alright," she shrugs and takes a seat next to Kyoya on one of the couches. She tries to peek at what he's doing, but he slams his notebook shut before she could. A soft huff escapes her before her attention is taken by Mitsukuni.
"Ami-Chan! It's so good to see you! Do you want some of my cake?" He eagerly shows her the huge strawberry cake that Takashi is carrying behind him. "It's the sweetest thing ever."
"I guess I'll have a piece." Mitsukuni happily claps as he and Takashi head to the kitchen to cut the cake. Asami leans her head back against the couch and closes her eyes. The noise of the twins and Tamaki bicker blur together into nothingness. Her mind and body can finally relax. She is in Ouran Academy, her dream school, surrounded by her brother and his friends. She just finished the entrance exam and will hopefully hear back for an interview. She does not need to worry about anything in that moment.
"I was suppose to take Tamaki with me as well..." Asami flinches when Emica's voice appears in her mind. She opens her eyes, locking them onto Tamaki's figure. "Yuzuru is not being truthful..." She cannot get the words out of her head. Can she find the courage to confront Yuzuru? Can she tell Tamaki the truth about going to Shirakawa and what Emica told her? She notes how Tamaki has stopped yelling at the twins and is now staring out the window at something. The twins have serious expressions on their faces as well when they see what he's looking at. She furrows her eyebrows, getting up from the couch and heads over to them. Her eyes search the garden outside when she spots a girl standing in the middle, holding white roses in her hands. The girl looks to be around Tamaki's age with black hair and dark brown eyes. Asami's eyes widen when the girl starts to cut the flowers off the stems with a sickening smile on her face. The girl slowly looks up and stares at the group.
"I thought we had a restraining order against her." Asami jumps in surprise at Kyoya's voice. She glances to the side, noticing how close he is to her while leaning towards the window.
"We do." The twins chorus, crossing their arms with angry expressions on their faces.
"Who is she?" Asami questions as she nervously glances at her brother. She has never seen him look so...terrified.
"Her name is Maru, she's an old customer who gained an obsession for me." Tamaki whispers. "She would stalk me and harass me all last year. She would even go after the other host members because she thought I was with them. Kyoya was able to get a restraining order against her for all of us. She got expelled. Why is she here?" Asami quickly reaches for her brother and wraps her arms protectively around him. Maru's face darkens and she throws the flowers onto the ground. She turns, stalking out of the gardens. "You shouldn't have let her see you." Tamaki closes his eyes and rests his head on her shoulder. "She would hurt any girl that spoke to me. I don't know what she's going to do now that she saw you hug me."
"Tamaki, it's going to be okay. I'm sure we can speak to father and have security increased around the school and the houses. She won't get near you, and I can take care of myself." Asami pats his back gently while locking eyes with Kyoya over his shoulders. 'Can you tell your dad about this?' She mouths. He nods his head, pulling out his phone and walking away to make the phone call. Mitsukuni and Takashi return from the kitchen with cake in hand and worried gleams in their eyes at the sight of Tamaki.
"Tama-Chan!" Mitsukuni rushes over. "Here, hold Usa-Chan." A pink bunny that Asami is not sure if she ever saw it appears in his hands. He holds it out for Tamaki. Tamaki releases Asami and carefully hugs the bunny to his chest. He moves to lay down on one of the couches, a distant look in his eyes. "Have some cake too!" Takashi starts handing out plates of the cake to everyone.
"Thank you." Asami smiles at him, gently taking the plate from him. As their fingers accidentally touch, a strange electric feelings surges through her body. She immediately snaps her eyes toward him to see him already staring at her. A small blush creeps onto her face. She hurriedly turns away and heads over to sit by Tamaki's head. She lifts his head and lays it onto her lap as she takes a seat. "Open wide," she says and Tamaki obliges. She cuts off a small piece of cake with her fork and feeds it to him. "I'll always be here for you." She whispers, softly running her hands through his hair in hopes of calming him down. She wishes to ask more about the Maru situation because she feels like there is something more serious behind the terrified expression Tamaki wore. Tamaki reaches up and grabs her hand, linking their fingers together. She lets him bring her hand to his chest. He seems to find comfort in knowing that she was right there with him.
"Wow," Asami looks up to see the twins grinning mischievously, "and I thought we were suppose to be the incestuous love hosts." As if a rubber band just snapped, Tamaki is shooting out of her lap and into the air, heading straight towards the twins.
"How dare you try to taint my sister and I's sibling love? We are not like you heathens!" He screeches. Asami catches Usa-Chan before the poor bunny fell on the ground.
"Thank you for saving Usa-chan, Ami-chan." Mitsukuni appears next to her with his eyes sparkling. "Usa-chan hates being dirty." He giggles and reaches his arms out, taking the bunny from her. Asami leans back to observe the scene surrounding her. She knows the twins purposely said that to help distract Tamaki from the Maru girl. Maybe she judged Hikaru too harshly because it does seem that he does have some empathy like Kaoru. Mitsukuni is feeding cake to his bunny while Takashi stands behind him and keeping an eye on the ruckus. Kyoya removes himself from the wall, ending the phone call and stuffing his phone back into his pocket. The two lock eyes and Kyoya can see the underlying question in her face. He briefly nods his head and she sighs in relief.
Kyoya's father has agreed to up security for the Souh family and school.
•••
Asami is nervously biting her nails as she stares at the phone, awaiting a ring. The house staff has walked by her various times only to see her in the same position as before. The clock is ticking closer and closer to 7:00 p.m. She still has nearly an hour to get a call for her interview. "You seem stressed." She turns to see Hana standing here with a bunch of towels in her hands. "Can I make you some tea?"
"Oh Hana, you're too nice to me." Asami sighs. "I'm waiting for Ouran to call me for my interview. I don't know what I'm going to do if I don't get one." Her eyes flicker towards the clock, flinching a bit as it dings when it reaches 7:00 p.m.
"Miss Souh, I am sure you did well on your exam. You are a very bright lady." As soon as those words left Hana's mouth, the phone starts ringing. Asami freezes and her eyes widen. "Go on, pick it up." Jana encourages her. Asami gathers her strength and picks up the phone.
"Hello, this is Souh Asami. How may I help you?" Asami politely asks.
"Miss Souh, this is Chū Shō from Ouran Academy. I am happy to inform you that you passed the exam portion. Your interview is scheduled to be tomorrow at noon. See you then." The line clicks as he hangs up. A wide smile spreads across her lips and a loud cheer escapes her.
"I passed!" She laughs happily.
"Congratulations. I shall prepare some sweets to celebrate. I will bring them to your room."
Hana states with a smile before quickly leaving. Asami basically rushes to the garden in the back yard of the mansion. Tamaki typically spends his free time in there and cares for the flowers. She spots his figure leaning over some marigolds and smelling them.
"Tamaki!" She shouts, bolting over to him. He turns around just in time to catch her figure as she runs into him and hugs him tightly. "I passed the exam, my interview is tomorrow at noon!"
"Congratulations, you're one step closer to being my official kōhai." Tamaki happily returns the hug. "Now, we have to prepare you for the interview."
"Hana's bringing sweets to my room. We can eat and prepare for the interview together." The two begin their journey to her room. Happy chatter fills the air between them along with laughter, they shove one another a few times in response to some things being said.
From a window on the second floor, Yuzuru watches his children with a small smile in his face. He sees the growth in Asami every day. Ever since the charity event, the family has felt closer than before. Maybe it is because they are afraid of Asami being kidnapped again after what Emica has pulled—or maybe Asami has finally started to view this place as her home. He enjoys listening to her laughter echo through the hallways. Tamaki was never very vocal after joining Yuzuru. The hallways weren't that warm, but now, warmth is filling every corner of the home.
"You need to tell them the truth eventually." Yuzuru glances to see Yoshiro approaching him with some files in his hands.
"How can I?" Yuzuru sighs. "They'll never trust me again when they realize I've lied from the beginning about my relationship with Emica."
"It's better that they find out through you than Emica." Yoshiro replies, sighing as he hands over the files. "These were recently pulled from the database by a hacker who I am assuming was Emica." Yuzuru curiously opens the folder and looks over the files.
"She's not going to stop." He mumbles, frowning at the files. "How did she hack into the database?"
"We are still trying to figure that out. Emica is much more resourceful than we thought." Yoshiro states. "That is why I'm recommending you sit those two down and tell them everything."
"I don't know if I can." Yuzuru closes his eyes.

Asami nervously smoothes her black skirt out as she sits in the lounge chairs outside the interview office. Her blonde hair is tied up into a tight bun, a light blue blouse dawns her torso, skin-colored stockings cover her legs, and small black flats are on her feet. Tamaki and Hana helped pick out her outfit for the interview. Luckily, Haruhi was scheduled to have her interview before Asami so the two talked for a bit until Haruhi was pulled into the office. Her phone dings and she pulls it out, quickly looking at the message.
From: Kazuki
Good luck on your interview! I wish mine was today so we could've walked to the academy together. Let me know how everything goes!
She smiles, a sense of some relief washing over her body. The door suddenly opens and Haruhi steps out. "Good luck," she whispers while walking by. Chū Shō steps out of the room and gestures toward Asami.
"Miss Souh, please enter." Asami raises from the chair and enters the room. A group of five men sit on one side of a rectangle table and one lonely chair is on the other side facing them. She furrows her eyebrows a bit when she notices her father is not in the room, but she quickly smoothes it out with a bright smile.
"Good afternoon, sirs." She bows since Akira told her that curtseying for a school interview is not appropriate and a bow would do.
"Please sit down." One of the men gestures to the seat.
"Thank you." She sits down ensures to cross her ankles, straighten her back and holds her hands in her lap. Shō stands in the back of the room and pulls out some papers before handing them to each interviewer. She quickly glances over the name plates sitting in front of each interviewer: Kagawa Takuji, Hori Yukio, Horiuchi Tomiji, Shintani Kotaro, and Taketa Morie.
"Please introduce yourself." Takuji commands.
"My name is Souh Asami. I originally attended Shirakawa Middle School." She instantly answers in a clear and loud voice. She immediately notes the disdain expressions from two interviewers: Hori Yukio and Shintani Kotaro. A crushing weight virtually slams into her chest because she will have to worked harder to gain their approval.
"Souh? You are Yuzuru's daughter," Takuji lights up at the name and grins. "I must say, most children of high pedigree parents typically do not go through the exam process. They just do a quick interview and are usually immediately approved. Can you tell us why you decided to take the exam?"
"Yes, Yuzuru is my father. I truly appreciate everything that he has done for me since I have come home; however, I did not want to depend on him for everything in my life. I wanted to see if I could get into this academy with my own brains and pedigree." She answers.
"Hard-working and independent, that is not something we often see in candidates." Tomiji chuckles.
"I suspect that your father will be shouldering your tuition." Yukio states and marks something down on the paper in front of him.
"Yes, my father has agreed to be responsible for my tuition costs; however, I will be helping him as much as I can." She comments, her smile becoming a bit more strained.
"How would you be helping your father? It is against school policies to have a job." Kotaro questions.
"Full-time jobs are not permitted, but part-time jobs and side gigs are allowed. I will be performing as a violinist at events. Any money that I get will be going towards required materials for my classes." She answers. Kotaro hums and leans back in his chair.
"Why did you choose Ouran?" Morie asks. Kotaro and Yukio both roll their eyes at that question.
"I originally chose Ouran before I discovered who I truly am. I heard various great things about this academy. Many of your students are renowned throughout the country, even the world. I did not come from much. My...kidnapper and I lived in poor conditions. I wanted a better life for myself thus I chose Ouran. I have decided to stay with my decision even after discovering who I am." She replies.
"So you chose Ouran because it can provide you the necessary opportunities to grow and have a better life." Morie nods his head. "I do like that answer, but with you being apart of the Souh family, do you think you could still receive those necessary opportunities even if you went to a different school?"
"Yes, I do. Having Souh as my last name offers many opportunities and connections for me to grow; however, none of them are Ouran. At Ouran I can meet people and make those connections myself. I can have a larger part in improving my life without relying on my last name to provide me those opportunities." She states. The men take a minute to write some things down on the paper in front of her.
"The next interview is to start in the next two minutes." Shō announces.
"Your school sent us your transcripts and we can see that you had many extracurriculars along with high grades." Takuji points out. "You have been home schooled for the last few months for obvious reasons and while I sympathize with your situation, are you mentally prepared to come back to an in-person school?" Concern gleams in his eyes.
"My situation has definitely been hard and has drastically changed my life. Home schooling was not ideal for me because I was unable to continue my extracurriculars. I do believe I am mentally prepared to come back to school. I have taken the needed time to gather my thoughts and feelings about the situation. It is time for me to get back on track." She answers. A small ding sounds and Shō approaches Asami.
"The interview has reached its maximum time." He announces. Asami stands up and bows deeply to the group.
"Thank you for your time." She states. Shō escorts her out of the office. She stands there for a moment, watching as the next interviewee heads into the room. A soft sigh emits from her mouth.
Asami is unsure how well that interview went. Maybe she should've just used her father privileges to get into the school.
