MITCH'S POV

I was out running this morning with Scott. It was cold, but really fun. At first. Then we found, her. I saw a little girl sitting under a big oak tree. She looked freezing cold. Her clothes were dirty and she looked hungry. "Scott, stop," I said loudly over the wind. "What?" he whined. "I saw a little girl under that tree over there." I said to him. "This better not be a joke." he said as we turned back. This time her eyes were closed and she looked limp. I ran to her side. "Can you hear me?" I said loudly. No reply. I shook her just a little bit. Nothing. "Scott, call the hospital." I said. He called the hospital while I called Avi and asked him to pick us up now. "No questions." I cut him off as he started to ask why. "Just go."

In about five minutes, Avi had arrived. I took the small girl into the car. Scott got her stuff. After we were all piled into the car (Scott now had the girl and I had her stuff) Avi asked a load of questions. "Who is this? Where did you find her? What's wrong with her?" "Avi slooow down," I told him, "We don't know who she is, we found her under a tree, and we don't know what's wrong but she wasn't responding to me."

SCOTT'S POV

We were now sitting in the waiting room, waiting for information on this small girl. I still had her bags, one was filled with random things, phone, earbuds, a stuffed giraffe that looks well loved, and picture of her smiling with two people who I assumed were her parents. The other bag was filled with schoolwork and had a water bottle. Then I realized, she either somehow got lost walking back from school (unlikely) or she was running away from home.

"Friends and family of Amber." A doctor said, I figured it was us since no one stood up and we didn't know her name yet. I tapped Mitch, he looked worried. Avi was already standing, waiting for us. We all walked over to the doctor. "Amber is going to be fine, she was very dehydrated and hungry when you found her." the doctor said to us, "You can all go see her now." she added. "Ok" I replied after taking in all of this. Mitch was already in there with her by the time me and Avi walked in. Amber looked very shocked as she noticed me and Avi walk in. We were followed by Kevin and Kirstie. How did they know?

"You're Pentatonix." she whispered in awe.
