Ladybug's/Marinette's POV

"...I love you,..and b-before you say anything.., I've always loved you ever since you saved Chloè from Stoneheart...and I, I was hoping...if you'd like to...got out...on a date....?"

Aw man, I can't deny him when he's being sincere like this! It would break his heart! And he might get akumatized! I'll just have to...tell him..I'm gonna regret this...

First, take a deep breath. "Chat...I....I... don't,....I mean I can't.... love you.... the same way....., I....I love someone else....I....I'm sorry (it hurt me to write this)

"I-its ok m'lady. Still friends?" He says as he puts a gloved hand to shake, as I realized that he was severely hurt...I wish I did love him the same way he loves me....

I shake the hand. "Let's say, we put this behind us?"

"That's sounds like a pawsatively good idea, bugaboo."

"Aannndddd there go the puns, god why?"

Beep beep, their Miraculouses signaled simultaneously.

"I gotta go, bye chat." I say as I swing away on my yoyo.

Once I get home, I de-transform and collapse on my bed.

"Marinette....are you ok?"

"I'm fine, Tikki,...I just feel horrible for just shattering his heart like that."

"Well, you told the truth, and you tried to tell him as friendly as you could, don't feel bad!"

"Thanks Tikki, you always know how to make me feel better."

"Thanks Mari, now *adorable yawn* let's go to bed now!"

"Sure Tikki, you get settled in."

Once she changed into her PJs, and she got in her bed, she heard a tap tap tap sound on her window, once she opened it, she was ingulfed into a hug.

"C-chat, what's w-wrong...?"

"..."

"Chat..." She heard sobs, that explains it.

"Chat, sit down, breath, and tell me what happened."

Once he gained his composer, he started to speak: "..i.. confessed to ladybug...about my feelings...and she..*sniff* said that her heart belonged to another..."

"Oh chat,...I'm..I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt you this much. She cares about you,...alot, and she..., "

"She what?" He snapped. He must be angry, don't cry.

Apparently, it didn't work, because she heard Chat wince and immediately apologised.

"I'm sorry, Marinette, it's just...i..."

"It's ok, I understand... I've...I've been rejected too..."

"R-really?"

"Yeah, when I was in 7th grade,...I was in a relationship."

"With who?" Chat said with a hint of jealousy in his voice.
