Sam booted up her computer. She opened the gaming forums. My my, many people seemed to like the new game, Aetheria online.

There was a ding sound and she knew that her new gaming console has arrived. She ran down the stairs and opened the door. When the mailman looked up, he seemed shocked to see that a girl has ordered something which can distract herself from her social life.

Sam ignored the look and smiled.

"Yes, I know the usual processes, can I sign the form now?"

The mailman seemed wary but he eventually handed her the form. Sam signed it with her relatively messy signature. The mailman left without another word.

Sam locked the door and rushed up to her room. She cut open the box with scissors and inside it was a small chip and a Rift. She put the Rift on and inserted the chip into the slot.

Sam put the helmet on. Better give it a test run before recording any videos on it.

Sam clicked the start button and closed her eyes. Numbers appeared on her screen. 5...4...3...2....1....

Sam stood in a white room full of grids. There was a ding sound and a giant screen appeared 10 feet away from Sam. Then a menu appeared in front of her face. She filled in the form and pressed ok. Afterwards, a mirror appeared and there was a menu in front of her asking if the image was ok. In the mirror, there was a woman standing at 6 feet with very tiny eyes and long green hair. Sam shortened her to 5 ft. 7 and changed the weight to 45 kilos, then she pressed ok.
