Avis sat down on an office chair in one of the conference rooms a few floors above the workshops. Liane came in and sat down in front of her.

"As you already know, I am the co-founder of the company which makes the game engine of all Rift based games called Dreamscapes. I would like you to sign a one year contract to work with us to help U.S. market the game." Liane said in a mature way.

Avis wanted to know why the co-founder of Dreamscapes would make her avatar a human girl. I mean there were secret species and races swirling within the system. Why would someone so important want to be something so bland?

" Info on contest effort anything please." Avis said in a lighthearted manner.

"The competition is not a competition where anyone can just enter. It has very........ strict requirements. The first is that only one guild can enter one representative which is part of that guild. The second is that the guild must be working under, for, or with the government. The third is that the representative must be in the media business and has signed a one year business contract with the company or agency which controls the guild. "

" So the competition is for pro gamers?"

" Exactly!"

" Ok, what are we acting for? Let's get prepared."

" Please sign here."

Avis skimmed the contract and deemed it fair so she picked up the pen and scribbled in her signature.

Liane smiled and said in a sinister way, " Your life is on the line here. There is no quitting on the battlefield."

Avis just realized what happened and she regretted the decision of trusting Liane.

Liane got up and walked towards the elevator. She turned her head and said " Good luck. The benefit is that it paves a way for you to win the game completely."

" How to win anyway?"

" ascension." Liane said as she walked into the closet and shut the door.
