Chapter 5
The Seventh Sister's POV
"How can I not tell this to the rest?" Sabine exclaimed.
Perfect. Absolutely perfect. We tell the girl what happened to us and now she wants to tell everyone.
"Because this does not concern them!" I snapped.
"But Kanan, you know, the Jedi, could help you two!" Sabine said.
"It is not that simple Sabine. We are not going to go to Kanan about something that doesn't concern him," Ezra said.
"Well, are you two going to leave the crew? You probably will have to," Sabine pointed out.
I looked at Ezra, and we automatically came to another silent agreement.
"Another simple solution," I smirked.
"What?" Sabine asked.
"Cover for us. We will just stay in the Phantom and disengage once you leave," Ezra explained.
"You two are going to disengage while in hyperspace? " Sabine exclaimed.
"It's been done before," I said.
"And what if Kanan and Hera want to come after you?" Sabine questioned.
"Tell them what you need to to keep them here. Just do not tell them everything. We will be back as soon as possible," Ezra said.
"I will try to make sure he does not die," I sighed.
"Fine," she said after a hard silence. "Just don't hurt yourselves. Stay safe."
Sabine turned and descended down the ladder into the Ghost. As soon as the latch was closed, Ezra turned around in the pilot's chair and started preparing to disengage.
"Ready?" Ezra asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be," I said.
"Prepare to disengage."
Once Ezra pressed the button to disengage, the ship struggled out of hyperspace. Ezra fought to keep the Phantom steady. Colors flashed everywhere as my vision starting going hazy.
"Steady! Steady!" Ezra shouted once he got the ship under control.
I stumbled backwards and pulled down one of the seats folded against the wall.
"You okay?" Ezra asked.
"I now know why people do not do this," I muttered.
"Oh, it is not so bad once you get used to it," Ezra said.
"How many times have you done this?"
"Once I did it with Kanan, then six times with Phoenix squardon, and twice on my own, not including this time."
As Ezra guided the ship into space, he pressed a button on the control console and a star map showed up. He put the ship on autopilot and turned around in his seat.
"We are here," he said, pointing to a red dot. "Where do we want to be?"
I looked at the map closely, choosing and scheming where to go. Finally, I figured it out.
"There," I pointed.
"There?" Ezra asked.
"Why not there?"
"I don't know, maybe because it is the most heavily guarded planet in the galaxy!"
"What better place to start looking for answers other than the source of it all?"
"We don't even know what we are looking for. Maybe a clue will apear in the place that knows almost everything."
"Then off we go."
"Putting in hyperspace coordinates."
"This ship actually has a hyperdrive?"
"Why not."
And with that, the ship entered hyperspace, flying off to certain doom.
Off to Coruscant.
