"Yes, we do have enough money, my uncle gave me 50 dollars before we leave." answered Aviana.

"Oh, thank god."

"Aiden, please stop worrying about everything."

"Fine,"

"Do you want this gun Sir?" the seller asked me.

"Yeah, I'll take take this one, but I need another one too." I answered.

"Here," he said while handing me the two guns.

"Thanks, how much are they?"

"40 dollars."

"Here," I said while handing him the 40 dollars.

"Thanks, have a good day."

"You too."

Aviana and I walked out of the store, and we returned back to uncle Logan's cave.

"What took you so long? I was worried about you two." said uncle Logan.

"What's wrong uncle? We aren't late, the distance from here to the shop takes a lot of walking, that's it." explained Aviana.

"Ok okay."

"Where is Aric?" I asked uncle Logan.

"He's in his room, I'll call him." said uncle Logan.

"Okay,"

Uncle Logan went and brought Aric, he looked at me with innocence I didn't know how to teach him such things while he's looking at me like that.

"Aric, would you like to go somewhere with me?" I asked him.

"Where? What will I do there?" he asked me.

"We'll go to a beautiful place where I can teach you new things."

"Okay, let's go." he said with innocence.

"We're going uncle Logan."

"Okay son, take care out there."

"I will, c'mon Aric."

I took Aric, and I took him to a desert near the mountain. I bought 4 cans from a shop nearby and I placed them on a tall rock.

"Aric? Do you know anything about guns?"

"Yes, I do."

"What do you know tell me?"

"I know that guns kill people, and that they're very dangerous."

"That's true, but that's not it's true purpose."

"Then, what is the purpose of holding a gun?"

"The purpose of the gun is to defend yourself, if someone attacked you and he wanted to kill you the only way you can defend yourself in is to shoot him with a gun."

"But that's called killing people not defending myself."

"Aric, look, I'll tell you a situation and you tell me what you'll do okay?"

"If 2 boys attacked you and they were holding a knife, and you saw a gun on the street, and the only way out is to shoot them. Will you shoot them?"

"That's my boy," I told Aric with a wink. "Look, first thing is first you need to know how to shoot."

"Aric, hold the gun first." I told him while I handed him a small gun.

"Uncle Aiden, I'm scared."

"Okay." he said while taking the gun from my hand.

"Listen Aric, you have to hold the gun strongly because it can push you away."

"I'm holding it tightly uncle Aiden,"

"Perfect, boy."

"Am I holding it correctly?"

"Yes you are, now you must focus. Look at those cans that are in front of you, you must hit them, that's your target."

"How can I hit them?"

"You must focus, first you must know that the gun doesn't work if you don't pull the trigger."

"It's this thing over here." I said while pointing at the trigger of the gun.

"Now, pull the trigger Aric."

"Okay," he said while pulling the trigger of the gun.

"Now, this is the last step, focus on the cans and shoot."

"I'm trying." he said while looking closely at the cans.

"Focus Aric, shoot, you can do it boy."

Aric fired trying to reach the target, but he didn't, he was so close he hit the rock. I was impressed by how good he was, as a first time he did a perfect job.

"Good job Aric, you did an amazing job."

"Really? But I didn't hit the cans."

"It doesn't matter if you hit them or not, what matters is that you now know how to us the gun."

"Thank you uncle Aiden,"

"You're welcome young man, now let's head back to the cave you worked hard today."

"Okay,"

We walked back to the cave, and we saw all Aviana and uncle Logan waiting for us. They seemed worried, they had the same look on their faces, a look of sadness.

"We're back," I said.

"How was your day Aric?" asked uncle Logan.

"It was amazing uncle Logan, I'm so tired."

"Go sleep then,"

"Okay, goodnight everyone."

"Goodnight," we all said at once.

"What's wrong with you two? You look worried and sad." I said.

"Aiden, we have some bad news." said Aviana nervously.
