Gerard ran up to me. "You did great." I smiled and hugged him. I felt like i was coming off a sugar high. "That. Was. AWESOME!"
"I wondered if you'd enjoy that."
"And plus it was all better because i had you standing next to me."
I buried my face in his chest and he picked me up, carrying me over to where the others were waiting.
"So wanna go out for dinner to celebrate surviving the first show?"
"I'd just vote for pizza and a movie back at the hotel."
"Me too." Mikey.
"Me three." Ray.
"Me um... too tired to think. Pizza." Frank.
"Then it's settled. Pizza it is then."
We got like six pizzas and went back to the hotel with like ten movies we rented. I fell asleep halfway through 21 Jump Street. But in the morning was when things screwed themselves up. Badly.
