I heard my father say that trains were just another step into a great new world. I heard my mother say cars would be the end of us all. And one day I heard myself say that I would just rather walk.
Drake waved goodbye to his family as the train stated pulling forward.
"Come on Drake!" Sky grabbed Drake's hand and pushed him in the nearest seat she could. It appeared they where in a small room and to girls where sitting across from them.
"Oh hi again Sky!"
Drake looked at Sky and then back at the girls.
"Oh hi Lilas!"
"This must be your brother Drake!" She held out her hand but Drake just looked at her.
"Sorry he's shy sometimes,"
Sky looked at Drake with a smirk. The only time Sky have him that look was when he liked a girl in 2nd grade.
"Oh I almost forgot! This is my sister,Ellia.
"But my friends call me Ella,"
"What friends?"
Ella looked at her down at her feat.
"So um, what years is this for you Lilas? Drake said trying to break the tension.
"This is my first,"
"What about you Ella?"
"First"
"So are twins like us?"
"No I'm older," Lilas said.
"Oh so you were both born in the same year?"
"Yep!"
The Train kept chugging forward past rivers and forests and the four kept on talking.
"So what house do you think you're going to be in?" Drake asked.
"We'll both of my parents were in Ravenclaw so I'm pretty sure that's the house I'll be in, and Ella doesn't really care,"
"I can speak for myself Lilas,"
"Oh well sorry,"
Drake could tell the two didn't get along, it was pretty obvious because every conversation ended with them arguing about something. The strange thing was that he couldn't tell which one of them was boss. Yeah Lilas seemed like the obvious choice, but something about Ella seemed very controlling.
"I think it would be fun to be in Gryffindor," Drake said. Sky laughed and shook her head.
"If anything you would be a...,"
"Anything from the trolley Girls... and boy?"
"Hold that thought!" Of course the thought was lost after all the candy was eaten and other random conversation were found.
"Look we're here!" Sky said as the train pulled into the station.
It was dark out now but a vary large and tall man holding a lantern was gathering all the first years.
"See you soon!" Lilas said as her Ella's got of the train.
Drake and Sky waved as they walked towards the man.
"Ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be!"
