Jerome

Her room was definitely empty. She wasn't here, she most likely left for school. I open the beautifully decorated door and look at the stack of books that sat on her desk, one of them was a History book which she read from alot.

I pull the purple fabric decorated book from the stack. Her name neatly printed on the front. I sigh and sit down.

This was my day, wake up 7 am, record until 11, eat, sneak into Chasity's room, read her old daires, record some more, eat, and sleep.

Chasity's room was decorated with Minecraft posters and pictures of her and her family.

One picture caught my eye of her graduation from high school, I was the first person she hugged after she graduated.

I open the book and flip to the last page I left off at.

Dear Diary, June 11/12

Today was the same as yesterday, except today Jason Finally introduced me to Mitch and Jerome.

Mitch is a nice guy with a strange personality and Jerome is kind an sweet. He's the kind of guy all the girls want. Other than he makes bacca slurps every few minutes.

I mean, it's not like I'd date him.. Or maybe I would.. Oh god! What am I saying?? No! He's my brothers best friend, why would I date him? Jason wouldn't allow it..

Oh have mercy on me..

I smile. Maybe Jason didn't allow it, but me and Chasity did go on one date. It took 2 months to convince him, but he pulled threw.

I was going to ask Chaz to be my girlfriend, as soon as I convince Jason..

I put the book down and look at the door. The home phone was ringing. How wonderful, we never get calls!

I jump up and run to the stairs, Jason stood stifly listening to the words coming from the other end of the phone.

The others surrounded him with eyes of envy. What was going on?
"We'll be there soon" Jason says. I look at the girls who had eyes of hope.

"What is it?" I ask. They all look at me.

"Chaz was.. She was.. She was in a car accident...." Dallas says trying to hold her tears.

"What?.." I ask quietly. My world must've fallen to oblivion. I hold my tears back. Nonono!

I fall to my knees and let my tears slide down my cheek. Oh have mercy on her!
