"Hey death boy? What's wrong?" I tapped him on the shoulder. No response. Oh so we're playing the silent treatment, are we now? "Well two can play at that game."I scoffed playfully. 3 seconds later, I began to feel awkward. "Ok only one can play. Cmon, talk to me I whined shaking his arm. It really seemed extra bony. Nico turned to look at me and I nearly wet my pants. That thing that I thought was Nico was actually a skeleton. "Wow," I whispered. "Nico you are so cool." The skeleton tilted it's head like I don't creep you out? I shook my head. "I'm not a wuss. But could you tell me where Nico went?" The skeleton pointed up. "The roof?" It nodded. "Thanks skully." I said as I pushed through the crowd. I could swear it would've rolled its eyes. I reached the top of the roof in no time. There he was, in all his death boy glory. I tiptoed quietly, because I was in the mood to annoy him, and startling people really does the trick. I put my hands on his eyes. "Guess who death boy?" Nico twisted around and promptly wrapped his hands around my neck. Whoa. Jumpy much. I do believe he realized it was me and removed his hands.
"What the hell was that Will? And how did you know I was here!" Nico shouted. "Revenge for the skeleton surprise, and Skully told me."
"His name is not–" Nico's eyes widened. "Wait what? I don't have a skeleton."
"Well can you explain that?" I pointed to the sword on Nico's waist. He looked down carefully avoiding his sword. "Explain what."
I sighed. "Neeks, I know what you are."
"What am I then?"
"You're one of the super cool people who have super powers. God you're so lucky." I said.
"Nico snorted. "Would you still want powers if it means that you're hunted for your whole life? If you have to get kidnapped by monsters? If you had to lose your sister who went on a quest?" Nico was visibly shaking. I could feel the dark air radiating from him. "You don't understand anything!" He shouted wrapping himself in shadows. I did the bravest and most stupidest thing ever. I ran into the cloud and embraced Nico. "Will go away! They'll pull You into it!" Nico yelled.
"I don't care! I will help you expel them if it's the last thing I do!" I shouted back. Slowly the shadows faded away. Nico collapsed in my arms. In that thing, I had felt like I was going to disappear and turn into one of them. Holding on to Nico kept me rooted to the real world. "Nico? Nico!!" I shook him then slapped him. He was becoming cold. Oh no.

Sowwwwy!! I know I haven't updated in a while, and just when someone complimented the fast updates. *slaps myself* Well I had exams and my brain really didn't want to think.  I'll be updating at least 2 stories every week, cuz that's my plan for until break is over...
