The world has fallen into disarray, order and civilization are but things of the past. Nuclear war heads have fallen across the globe, killing billions and leaving only handfuls of people to suffer in wastelands, scraping by and trying to form some symbolization of society once more.

Common things became rare items, even something as simple as water had become more valuable than gold on the inner parts of continents, which turned into nuclear deserts. Most people couldn't even gather fuel for a vehicle, often deciding to go places on foot.

Those who weren't killed by the bombs suffered from radiation poisoning, however, there were extremely rare cases of the radiation aiding someone, changing there genetic makeup for the better. These rare few, nicknamed Survivors, often received some type of "blessing," an ability to control a force of nature.

It has been 1000 years since all this has happened, now it's your turn to traverse through this irradiated world. You did live a peaceful life, but when you become the last remaining member of your family, which isn't uncommon, you decided it was time to go out in search of a safer home. Near the very start of your journey you encounter more humans, even two Survivors, the lot of you agree to travel in a group and head for the last safe settlement on the continent, Epsilon. However, it's easier said then done.
