It shouldn't have been this way. They shouldn't have been suffering like this. They shouldn't have been losing all the hope they had in their system.

They should've been laughing, smiling, and sending terror mails to us all about their vacation.

But of course, Viggo Grimmaker had to butt into their plans. Now he's trying to enslave the whole population of Castaways, and those who won't do what he says will be killed.

And worse, he's after my sister.

For what reason, I don't know of yet. But I don't even want to tell her about that yet either. She's got enough to worry about.

Right now, I'm helping Fishlegs pass out the food supplies we brought back from Berk. Not much of a difference, it's still fish, yak chops, chicken (despite Tuffnut's desperate begging not to),  water, and even stinkier fish (I have no idea why the twins decided to bring those but most of the survivors don't actually care about the smell).

Arsyn and the rest of her gang have woken up and are helping new survivors stitch up their wounds, despite the fact they had some themselves. Hopefully they're doing better then before.

Forget what Astrid just said. I didn't want her worrying so much, so I made an excuse to why we're not resting in the infirmary. Or at least, I'm not. The only person besides me is Gustav, since he wouldn't let me go anywhere alone since my little incident.

Overprotective much?

"I'll be fine!" I protested, trying to get past Gustav. "You said that yesterday and what happened? A bunch of thugs beat you to death!"

"C'mon, I can jump off a cliff and I'll still be fine!" I added dodging him as he tried to block my way again.

"Ya, but barely!"

I sighed, "you're not gonna let me pass are you?"

"Nope."

"Then come with me then, that way you can monitor me while I'm gone!"

Gustav stopped and thought about it, then said, "fine, but only since I'm coming along with you."

Where are we going you might ask? Well, we're supposedly gonna sneak into Viggo's new hideout (which was the Chief Lector's place). Why you must ask? I-

To tell you the truth, I have no idea why.

"Are you sure you want to go?" Gustav asked for the 28th time as I packed some extra supplies into Shadow's saddlebag.

"Positive," I reply turning my head to him.

"Then what's your plan anyways?" He asks crossing his arms.

"I'll figure it out when we get there," I say hopping onto Shadow's back.

Gustav raised an eyebrow at me, giving me a 'really?' look.

"Ok, so I haven't got anything planned yet. So what? There's nothing wrong with that!"

"So basically this is a sucide mission?"

"No but-"

"I don't want you to get hurt again! If you don't have any particular reason to go, then let's not go at all!!"

I was about the yell something back when I heard a horn blaring. I loud, long one.

Confused, we ran to the source of the sound. There, we found everyone rushing about, packing their stuff hurriedly. And at the entrance of the cave...

Dragon Hunters.

But how? We were careful not to make so much noise that they would've heard us. The cave was designed to look like a bunch of bushes, so it shouldn't have been simple for them to think it was something else.

There must be a traitor among us. But who would do such a thing?

I pushed those thoughts aside once I heard Astrid yell something in my direction. Before I knew it, I was knocked by something at the back of my head and blacked out.
