All of the traitor's were still in Auran even though two of them had already been defeated, Delia Ketchum was also proving to be a problem as she wanted the Prince to befriend the group who betrayed him.

Ashton and Melody were out walking through the garden's, the pairings for the next battle's were going to be announced in an hour's time so they wanted to have a walk before they had to return to the arena.

"Seems to me that we are spending too much time in that arena." Melody said with a smile.

"I see where you are coming from love, the only time we went in there before the tournament was to train the new Pokémon we had gotten." Ashton said with a laugh.

"I don't mind it though, you look so happy when you are battling with your Pokémon that I can't help being happy too." Melody said, this earned her a peck on the cheek from Ashton.

"There are many things in my life that make me happy now love. Battling with my Pokémon, training and catching new Pokémon, I have my true friend's around, I found a real family that care's about me and I have you." Ashton explained, he said this with a blush on his face.

"That's sweet Ash, and you will have us all for a long time." Melody replied kissing her husband on his cheek.

They heard some footstep's walking towards them so they separated from their kiss and turned to look at who was approaching them.

They both groaned when they saw who was heading their way: Delia Ketchum.

"What are you doing here? You know you are not allowed to be on these ground's." Ashton said, he was getting sick of this woman at this point.

"I just wanted to talk to you." Delia said in a soft voice, one that she once used to Ash when she wanted something from him.

"You have 5 minutes and then I want you to leave." Ashton said through gritted teeth, the mere fact that Melody was holding onto him stopped Ashton from attacking the woman.

"I would like to apologise for the children who you have come to dislike, a close friend of theirs betrayed them and just left, they are still suffering from it." Delia said with a sickly sweet smile.

Ashton and Melody were livid, she was going to make people think that he was the one to betray them, make him seem like the enemy

"Oh you mean Ash Ketchum? Your son?" Melody said with a smirk, she had a perfect idea.

"Yes, but how did you know that?" Delia was panicking, if these people knew her son then they most likely knew what happened to him, and that she had just lied to the Crown Prince and Princess of Auran.

"Oh didn't you know that Ash Ketchum has the power of Aura, he found this place a little while ago and challenged me to a battle." Ashton said, he knew exactly what his wife was doing.

"I bet he failed epically, he is a weak trainer and I know how powerful you and your Pokémon are." Delia said bursting out into laughter.

"Actually he is the only person who has ever challenged me that has beaten me, to this day I admire that boy." Ashton said with a smirk.

Delia immediately stopped laughing at that. "He beat you?" She asked, she sounded like she was in shock.

"Of course he did, he even asked to face a Legendary Pokémon and I chose Ho-Oh. We took turns taking out our Pokémon, I would defeat one of his then he would defeat one of mine, he just was able to take out my third Pokémon before I could take my attack. He was very strong, especially those new Pokémon he has." Ashton said, his smirk was only growing.

"He has new Pokémon?" Delia was speaking short sentences since she was in so much shock.

"Yeah, all together he has over a hundred Pokémon." Melody said, she too was smirking.

"I have to go." Delia said before rushing to the wood's.

Ashton and Melody burst into laughter when they saw this before making their way to the arena for the next pairings. Melody kissed her husband before making her way to the Royal Box while Ashton took his place within the centre of the arena.

"Congratulations to all those who remain but the challenges only become harder with each other passing round. Please turn your attention to the board!" Aaron said, every head turned to the large board that was shuffling the remaining names.

When the shuffling stopped and the names were revealed Max smirked: He was going against May.

May gulped and turned to look at the boy who was once her brother, who was also glaring dagger's at her and smirking.

"May and Max please take your place in the centre of the arena." Aaron said, it seemed that their luck made all of them be the first to battle.

"May, please choose your first Pokémon." The referee said.

"Beautifly, time to battle!" May yelled, the colourful butterfly Pokémon appearing on the field.

"Gallade, battle ready!" Max yelled, the white and green Pokémon appearing on the field. May was surprised at the Pokémon as she knew Gallade were really hard to come by.

"Beautifly use Silver Wind!" May yelled, the Bug Type Pokémon doing as it told.

"Gallade use Teleport!" Max yelled, May and Beautifly looked on in shock as the Fighting/Psychic Type just disappeared from the field. "Now use Close Combat!" Max then yelled.

May watched in shock as her Beautifly was attacked across the field by an unseen force, when the butterfly like Pokémon was down and unconscious Gallade appeared standing above the downed Pokémon.

"Beautifly is unable to battle! May please choose your next Pokémon!" The referee said, May recalled her downed Pokémon without any emotion on her face.

"Blaziken, show them your fire!" May yelled, the tall and orange Fire Type appearing on the field. "Use Flame Charge!" May finished.

Max then noticed something about the Flame Charge that made a lot more sense. "Stop the match!" Max yelled, this forced Blaziken to stop his attack.

"Giving up already little brother." May taunted.

"One I am not your brother and two I am not giving up, referee check her Pokémon." Max ordered, the referee looked up to Aaron who nodded his consent.

"What are you doing that for?" May asked though you could hear the panic in her voice.

"Oh no reason, I just want something checked. Why, do you have something to hide?" Max asked with a smirk, he knew the answer to that.

"No, check him if you must." May said, though everyone could see the fear in her eyes and hear it in her voice.

A device was held up against Blaziken and it began to beep. "My King, there are Pokémon  drug's in this Blaziken's system!" The referee said shocked.

"Are you sure?" Aaron asked, this was serious if it was true.

"That's not true!" May yelled at the same time.

"I am sure my King, this test's the skin to make sure no Pokémon drug's are being used, when it beeps it means that a substance is inside the Pokémon. Based on these reading's this drug was added not long before this match began." The referee said, even Max was shocked when he heard this.

"Well then. May Maple you are disqualified from the tournament for the use of drug's in your battle's, you may remain here to support your friend's but you are not allowed to battle." Aaron said, you could hear the disappointment in his voice.

"But I didn't do anything! Blaziken did it on his own!" May yelled, everyone could tell she was lying.

"Do not blame the Pokémon you are meant to be looking after, the only way those drug's get into the Pokémon's system is through an injection which they cannot do to themselves. I despise trainers who do this to their Pokémon just so they can win a battle." Aaron said, the disappointment clear in his voice.

May ran out of the arena in tears her group of friends as well as Delia all turned and following her out, while other's just watched her go with hate or disgust on their faces.

"Because of May's disqualification Max is the winner of this battle!" The referee said with a smile, Max forcing one on his face something that Ashton did not miss.

"What's wrong buddy?" Ashton asked when they left the arena.

"I wanted to beat her but not like that, I wanted to use my Pokémon to show how strong I am, how strong you made me. I never even got the chance." Max said putting his head down in shame.

"We both know who would have won that match Max and it was not her, you are a strong trainer and your Pokémon take their strength from you. The more strength you have the more powerful your Pokémon, why do you think yours are so strong?" Ashton said with a smile.

With that said they both headed to where their group of friend's were waiting for them, they all had smiles on their face and their eyes were bright.

"You!" Many voices said at the same time.

When Max and his group turned around they saw an angry May headed their way, her group of friend's not far behind her and all of them with hate on their faces.

This was not going to end well.
