Dare #4?
Dare: I dare you to go up to Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, and Hades and tell them that Iris sells some 'lighten up' cereal at her store and recommend that they go buy some.
Admin: Everyone wants us dead. Why is that?
Demeter walked into the throne room, trying to pretend this was just any other insult she'd throw at her brothers, or her nephew. She quickly IMed the four and asked them to meet her in the throne room, swiping through the message before they could ask any questions.
Poseidon was the first to arrive in a flash of blue light that carried the smell of the sea. He looked at her with curiosity and worry, but she just shook her head, signaling she'd wait for the others.
Zeus was next to arrive in a flash that sent sparks across the marble floor, making the lingering smell of ozone in the room much more noticeable. He was grumbling about never getting a break and stupid sisters. Demeter shot him a glare, waiting for the other two.
Surprisingly Hades was next to arrive. The shadows in the room grew and pooled toward her, and out popped Hades, reeking of death. He looked uninterested, hoping to get it over with quickly.
Ares was the last to arrive, wearing Greek armor, covered in sweat, and smelling like BO. He had a cut on his shin and arm, both bleeding ichor slightly.
As they stood in front of her, Demeter took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and let it out. She let an excited smile spread across her face, and before opening her eyes, heard groans from the four immortals.
She opened her eyes, clapped her hands together in front of her chest, and squealed slightly. "So, Iris was telling me about this new cereal she has, guaranteed to help you lighten up. I instantly thought of you four. Especially you three," she said, pointing at Hades, Zeus, and Ares. "So I really think you should go buy some! Bye!"
With that she disappeared in a flash of green light, leaving the throne room smelling like a freshly plowed field. Ares instantly flashed out, not sparing the others a second glance. The three brothers now stood alone in the throne room, looking at each other awkwardly.
Poseidon was the first to speak up. "I thought she got help. Wasn't she over her cereal problem?"
Hades snorted, rolling his eyes. "I think she meant that we need to lighten up, not buy the cereal. Iris doesn't even sell cereal."
"Still, we should keep a closer eye on her. We don't want a repeat of last September." Zeus concluded. The three brothers of Rhea shudder before flashing away.
