Silverfeather says that a dragon egg has shown up on her doorstep. Any advice as to what Silver should do?

Dragons don't part with their eggs. Like... ever.

There is a prophecy that whoever is given a dragon egg will save us from a great evil! Silverfeather, hang onto that egg and guard it with your life! You may find that it will work to your advantage!

Well gosh, I wasn't expecting an answer like that. I thought maybe you'd give some parenting advice, or tell her how to return it. I mean, that works too, but, a prophecy? Really? Kinda cliche if you ask me. And unexpected. Never mind me, continue.

In order to care for your prophetic egg, you must give it specialized care. If the egg is a white or light blue color, put it in your freezer. If it's yellow, leave it outside somewhere high up. If it's green, leave it at room temperature, but wet it occasionally. If it's blue, keep it in water or mud or on a sponge. If it's red, well, unless you have an active volcano to rest it by, your out of luck.

Okay, so can Silver return the egg and maybe another person can be the destined one?

Yeah, just call the lost dragon hotline.

Huh. I didn't know that there was a hotline for dragons. Or that dragons used phones.

No silly, we don't use phones. By hotline, I mean really hot. We send messages by fire. Ultraviolet waves in our fire react with the oxygen in the air at different frequencies to-

So, we use fire as our ways of talking long distance. That's why it's called a hotline. You know, like cause it's a communication line? That's hot? Cause it's fire? Get it?

*sigh. Yes. We get it.

So to access the hotline, you've got to breathe fire at just the right frequency and-

Um, Nais? I doubt that Silverfeather can breathe fire.

Uh, yes. Of course. So, just keep the egg for now (hopefully it's not a red egg) and just ask if you need me to call the hotline. And if it hatches, I can help. All ya gotta do is ask.

So there you go! The answer you were totally expecting, you are foretold to be the prodigy of a prophecy and as such you must take care of some legendary dragon egg bestowed upon you by the great prophets themselves.
