"You shouldn't," a soft voice whispered.

A guardian with glasses stared at the male, seeing him still watching the stars. He could hear someone else, but couldn't see them.

"I hate being the only one without-"

"He's destined for someone else," a smooth voice argued back, but was nowhere to be seen.

"Sky said he was my-"

"If you were to go through the plan."

The male watching the stars was joined by another, giving the stranger a small kiss.

"If I don't go through with the plan, he'll be in pain for the rest of his life," the guardian argued.

"But he'll truly join in the end. It will shape him into who he's supposed to be. A strong guardian."

"I don't want him to change! He's perfect now," The guardian watched for a little while longer, until the target was alone again.

"He'll never forgive you if he finds out," the voice whispered out one last warning.

"I'll live with it."

Tyler blinks back tears, and fails, from the sudden memory, but doesn't stop running his hand through Jason's hair, lulling him to sleep.

"I'm so sorry."
