"Wow." I whispered as my dark brown locks whipped furiously in the wind.

"This may come as a shock to you..." Elliot started but I cut him off with a shaky laugh.

I walked closer to him slowly and he looked at me with wary eyes.

Taking a deep breath, I stepped into the cold water and shivered.

Elliot came by my side slowly and hesitantly pulled me to his bare chest.

His warm body crushed mine as I hugged him tighter as if trying to have his warmth transfer to me.

"Why are you so warm?" I muttered. "Its freezing." I said and he laughed quietly. "We have to be warm if we are going to live in the water."

Then it hit me, this is real. I gasped and pushed him away. I sputtered for words frantically as he looked at me.

"This is real." I mumbled. He nodded and softly grabbed my face. My breath hitched as he leaned towards me.

"Your going to be okay. You don't have to ever see me again." He soothed.

I looked up and found his dark blue eyes staring at me.

I shook my head. "Just...give me a minute."
