Author Spotlights is all about shining light on the teen fiction stories and authors who make teen fiction such a powerful and emotional genre.

Teen Fiction is more than first crushes and high school halls. It is also about growth, identity, friendship, heartbreak, healing, and finding your voice.

Through Author Spotlight, we want to highlight the writers who capture these moments and give readers the chance to connect with the people behind the stories.

Each month there will be a new chapter where we post our thoughts on the story along with an interview we've conducted with the author!

Want a chance to be featured? Here's how it works:

Stories are selected directly from our reading lists, so make sure to submit your story through the official submission form.

The submitted stories should respect Wattpad's guidelines.

In the comment section, you're welcome to suggest an author and their book title you'd love to see spotlighted.

You may suggest your own story or someone else's, both are welcome. However, suggestions alone do not replace the submission process.
Stories still need to be submitted through the form to be considered.

Please note: We appreciate enthusiasm but spamming our profile or comments will not increase your chances of being featured.

Can unpublished or ongoing stories be featured?
Yes! As long as the story is published on Wattpad and submitted through the official form, it can be considered whether it's completed or ongoing.

How often is Author Spotlight updated?
Author Spotlight is updated monthly, with a new author featured each time.

If my story is in a reading list, does that guarantee a feature?
Being in a reading list makes your story eligible, but it does not guarantee selection. We review stories carefully to ensure variety and quality.

Can I submit more than one story?
Yes, but please submit each story separately and avoid submitting the same story multiple times.

What happens if my story is selected?
If selected, we'll contact you directly via AmbassadorCommunications to conduct an interview that will be published alongside your spotlight chapter.

Can I message the profile to ask for updates or confirmation?
We kindly ask that you do not spam for updates. If your story is selected, you will be contacted.

Why wasn't my story chosen?
Selection depends on many factors. Not being selected once does not mean your story won't be featured in the future.
