—Third Person Point of View—
Recap~
"I have something serious to tell you..I've been thinking about it for a few days and I believe it's the best decision for the both of us."
"How can you make up my mind for me?" Y/N pulled away, clearly offended.
"You can't force me to stay, Y/N. We need to end this..long distance never works..I'm going to go on missions and being with you can put you in danger.." Peter sighed and looked down at his feet, "And that's the last thing I want to do."
Y/N gulped and looked down at the man, his throat started to hurt and his eyes started to burn. He wanted to yell and kick then punch the wall and destroy everything. Four fucking years, down the fucking drain because of the fucking Avengers and fucking safety.
"Y/N?" Peter looked up to look at the other silent teen.
"Fuck you, Peter."
end~
Y/N glared at the man and walked away, he huffed softly and pushed the door open. "Fucking Spider-boy, I hope you get caught in your own web." He mumbled and went back to this apartment.
"Y/N," His father poked his head in the teen's room door, "Hey." He smiled a little sympathetically as he walked in and cracked the door behind him. He sat down on the bed, his weight making Y/N lean into the dip a little. "What's wrong?"
"I don't wanna talk about it," Y/N pulled the cover off of his head, but stayed tucked under the covers. He looked at his father then put the covers back on, "I don't need to talk about it, and I never will discuss this wretched manner." He groaned dramatically, "Just leave, I'll be fine on my own terms. I don't need you and Dad prying..it'll just make things worse."
The older man chewed at his lip as he thought, he knew his husband would be more worried than he was. "You know he sent me in here to check on you. He figured you'd at least tell me something. We just care about you kiddo-"
"I know, I know you do. And I'm happy about that, but not right now. I just need to figure things out without the two of you coddling me.."
"Will you be down for dinner?" He walked over to the door, his hand on the knob.
"We'll see when dinner gets here." Y/N mumbled sassily and stayed under the blankets.
Wednesday. 7:45PM. Dinner. Two weeks until graduation.
"Elijah, do something, he's going to starve." Y/N's more feminine father said as he looked at his husband making his way to their child's door.
"Patrick, calm down, I've got this. He should have enough energy to eat. Plus, a human can go three weeks without eating- so he wouldn't starve-"
"Elijah!"
"Okay," He put his hands up as a surrender, "Okay.." He took his hands down and knocked on the door, "Y/N?"
Elijah waited at the door and sighed softly when he heard no reply, "Okay, I'm coming in." He spoke and gently opened the door, he turned back to talk to Patrick. "He's gone-"
"What?!" The man quickly got out of his chair and rushed over to Y/N's room. He scanned the area and looked under the covers, "Y/N!" He yelled as if it would change the outcome.

Wednesday. 8:05PM. The Park.
"Y/N." Peter said as he saw his ex, he quickly got off the park bench and stood up. He gulped and straightened out his pants a little bit. He wasn't sure what to do with his hands. He gulped again when the teen got closer, his heart started to race and he felt his body over heat. He sighed and tried to remain calm, but he felt like Y/N knew his every thought. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he opened them and saw Y/N's sad expression. He felt like his heart dropped, he did this, it was all his fault..
"Why'd you beg me to come here? To embarrass me again..but in public this time?" He scoffed and crossed his arms. He wasn't angry anymore, he was just hurt. He felt betrayed that Peter thought of this to be the best decision. How could he chose for Y/N? Y/N wasn't dumb, he was mature and could make choices by himself.
The streetlight and the moon's brightness contoured Peter's expressions. "I'm sorry I did that. I'm sorry I avoided you- I-I couldn't imagine the pain you must've felt. I wasn't at school and you were all alone worrying for me. That was selfish and I should've came to you.."
"I agree." Y/N spoke, venom in his tone. "If you asked me to come here to get back together, you can forget it, Pete. Getting back together would be the worst decision ever."
Shocked, Peter quickly gulped and looked at Y/N with wide eyes. He sighed and looked down at the dirt below them. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and nodded. "I suppose you're right."
"I'm always right, that's why you were able to survive with me. That's why you're with Stark and the Avengers anyways...maybe you were right as well. How the hell could I stay with an Avenger boyfriend and go off to college? How could I deal with your death if someone killed you?" He sighed softly and looked at Peter. "It was fun while it lasted. We can be friends, but I'll have to grieve our relationship before I make a final decision."
Peter nodded and turned away to start walking. He looked behind him and smiled a little, it was sad and sympathetic. "It was nice knowing you, you made me happy and I hope I did the same to you. Goodbye."
"Bye, Peter." Y/N mumbled softly. He knew they needed to break up, Y/N was going across the country for college and he never expected to have a long distance relationship. He knew many of his friends failed, he felt it wouldn't happen to him, but he couldn't predict the future.

Patrick got up and rushed to the door when he heard knocking, he saw Y/N standing there with a sheepish expression. He hugged his child tightly then pulled away to look at him, "Your father and I were so worried, where were you?"
"With Peter, we broke up- officially." Y/N looked up at his dad with his E/C eyes. He sniffled softly and wiped his nose with his jacket sleeve.
Patrick grimaced at the sight, "I'm so sorry..we can watch movies and wat ice cream and get fat."
"God, Dad." Y/N cried but started laughing at his dad's suggestion. "How cliche can you get?"
"Hey, I could be worse." Patrick smiled.
"I know." Y/N looked up at his fathers, "I don't need Peter..I'll be fine on my own."
