A/N I'm so sorry I didn't update on Monday, I had really busy week and weekend:(-Piper
      Darkness. All there was, was pure darkness. I could see nothing, but it felt like I was falling. I was falling, and I couldn't stop. I tried grabbing for walls around me, but they weren't there. I felt helpless and weak. Falling forever.
     I woke up with a start. "Ryan," I cried softly. I looked over next to me, where he was laying in his hospital bed, deep in a coma. "Ryan."
     I stared at him for a minute or two before falling back asleep to the steady beat of the heart machine. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
     "Hey, Flora!" Riley called out.
     "Yeah?" I asked, running over to him and giving him a big hug.
      "Oh nothing, I just wanted to say hi," he replied, putting his arm around my shoulder, "You look beautiful today. Like you always do?"
       "Thanks," I said with a blush.
       "I just wanted to say that you are brave, beautiful, and so wonderful," he complimented.
       "Thank you," I answered, "You are so handsome, and also so kind and sweet."
        "Thank you," he smiled. We continued to walk along, across the cross-walk, and down to my house. Together.
        I woke up again. If only my dreams were reality. Wait. I looked over at Ryan. He wanted me to become brave and crawl out of my shell. He needed me too. And I'm going to.
