ENGAGEMENT DATE

Two days later again Agarwal and Shekhawat family met.. But this time at Shekhawat mansion..
It was the second time for Sanyukta.. She last time went there fourteen years ago..
Seeing the entrance of Shekhawat mansion from the car she felt nostalgic (a/n Sanyukta saw the entrance of Shekhawat mansion from a little distance and they need to drive for two more minutes to reach the mansion).. She reminisced how Randhir was jumping on his bed and behaving like a five year seeing the injection..
She smiled remembering that with glossy eyes..
Glossy eyes??
Yep... Glossy eyes... How could she forget that, that day whole gang went to see him as he was injured.. Injured because of her..
Even fourteen years ago also Randhir loved her dearly and always thought about her wellbeing before his own self...
Sanyukta chuckled thinking that they fell in love with each other when they didn't even know the real meaning and original depth of the word 'LOVE'..
With passing time their love only grew stronger and their bond became unbreakable..
People say that time is the most powerful thing, it can do anything..
And they even say that out of sight, out of mind...
But in their case none of these sayings worked..
Separation of fourteen years couldn't stop each other from loving each other.. In fact they fell for each other a bit more with each passing moment...
Their connection was so strong that they didn't need to see each other in a in regular basis..
The true love of SanDhir proved those sayings some mere myth..
They were in a long distance relationship without any confession..
But after whole long fourteen years they met..
They confessed..
They lived like boyfriend girlfriend..
They enjoyed their share of fun..
And now they were going to hitch with each other both ritually and lawfully..
But spiritually they are already married.. They are each other's..
But still that marriage thing was making Sanyukta thrilled...
Whenever she thought herself as Randhir's bride a crimson hue appeared on her glowing cheeks..
The feeling of Randhir would mark her his made her feel giddy...

Gauri - Are dekho toh sasural aate hi kaise blush kar rahi haan meri nanand baisa.. (she held Sanyukta's chin and teased her)
Sanyukta - (flushed more) Aisa kuch nehi hain bhabi..
Omkara - Are Gauri kya tum bhi.. (muttered while driving)
Gauri - (pouted) kya main bhi Omkara jii??
Omkara - Are theek se dekho tum.. Sanyu blush thodi hi kar rahi hain... Woh toh bas kuch pink pink sa laga huya hain iske galon pe... (he said innocently and teased her more)
Sanyukta - (made a sad pout) kya bhai.. Ab aap bhi tease kor rahe ho mujhe...
Omkara - Ab ek hi toh behen hain meri.. Toh usse tease karne ka toh mera pura pura haq banta hain.. Aur ab toh uski shaadi bhi ho rahi hain...
Sanyukta - (faked annoyance) humph..!! Aap dono nah bohot bure ho.. Main Shivay bhaiyu ko bolke daat khilayungi aap dono ko...

Both Omkara and Gauri laughed at her cuteness.. Next moment Omkara pulled up in from of the main door of Shekhawat mansion and hopped down from the car..
They saw their another car was also there indicating that Kishor, Anju and Shivay reached there before them..
The trio walked ahead and came to the threshold of the mansion..
Renuka saw them from the hall and rushed to them followed by whole Shekhawat family and Kishor, Anju and Shivay...

Renuka - (caressed Sanyukta's cheek) aa gayi meri bacchi..
Didi.. (she gestured Maya something and she went inside blinking at her)
Ek minute rukh jaa Sanyu.. Fir ander aana..
Ritik - Kya huya chachi jii.. Sanyu ko ander kyun nehi aane de rahi aap...?? (he was confused)
Maya - (came with arti ki thali) Yeh lo Renu...
Renuka - Thank you didi.. Ritik ab samjhe kyun main Sanyu ko ander ane nehi de rahi thi.. (she said not looking at him)

Ritik nodded as he understood that Renuka wanted to do arti first that was why she asked her to wait..
Next Renuka did the veneration of Sanyukta then let her in the house..
Those sweet gestures of Shekhawat family always made Agarwals happy and satisfied deliberately..
Next Sanyukta bend down to touch Renuka's feet but she caught her hand and hugged her..

Renuka - Are Sanyu.. betiyaan payo nehi chuti.. Unki jagah toh dil me hoti hain.. (a moment later she broke the hug and kissed Sanyukta's forehead) welcome to your new home Sanyu.. (holding her hand Renuka took her inside)
Ritik - Sanyuu.. Kaisi hain tu?? Tujhe nah hum sab ne bohot miss kiya specially Shivanya ne.. Usse gossip karne ke liye koi nehi mil rahi thi nah issiliye.. (The moment Sanyukta stepped inside he hugged her)
Sanyukta - Even I missed you guys a lot.. (hugged him back)
Shivanya - (separated Sanyukta and Ritik's frame) Hato nah.. Mujhe bhi toh milna hain Sanyukta se...
Ritik - (stepped back) Haan.. haan.. mil lo tum bhi..
Shivanya - (squealed in joy) Sanyu... (she jumped on Sanyukta)
Sanyukta - (hugging her back) Aram se Shivanya.. Main bhagi nehi jaa rahi kahin..
Shivanya - (broke the hug) Aur nah hi hum tumhe kahin bhagne denge.. (she giggled)
Sanyu tumhe pata hai.. (she started to tell something but Maya stopped her)
Maya - Baki ki baatein baad me karna.. Pehle dono aa ke baitho yahan.. (she faked strictness)
Shivanya - Jii mamma.. Sanyu.. Chalo..

Both girls sat beside each other and now Shivanya got another gossip partner - Gauri..
Randhir looked at Sanyukta who was chatting happily with Shivanya and Gauri and smiled brightly in mind.. He was happy seeing her happy..
Feeling Randhir's gaze on her Sanyukta looked at him..
She upped her eyebrow and asked him what he was looking at by her gesture..
Randhir cupped his face with his hand and kept staring at her without giving her an answer.. Sanyukya flushed and looked down..
He chuckled extremely lightly and shook his head at his shy baby..
Soon an attendant served them with snacks..
All had some snacks while chit chatting with each other..
Kishor, Shivya and Harsh were talking about business..
Anju, Renuka and Maya were talking about marriage and premarriage rituals' preparations, jewellery and dresses..
The three young ladies got themselves busy in their 'Girly' talks..
And talking about the remaining three boys, well two of them were busy bullying a poor soul..
Yup.. Omkara and Ritik were teasing Randhir and he was sitting like an obedient kid baring all their tortures..

After sometime Priest came to fix the date of SanDhir's engagement and marriage date..
Well this was the real reason of the arrival of Agarwals in Shekhawat's abode..
The priest took his own time to match the stars of SanDhir and did all other necessary things and declared that the engagement date and marriage date..

Priest - Jii.. Doo (2) hafte baad sagayi ka accha mahurat hain aur chhe (6) mahine baad shaadi ka..

Hearing this all beamed with happiness and started congratulating each other..
But Sanyukta remained unresponsive.. And even some frown lines were visible on her forehead..
Randhir noticed that and went to her..

Randhir - Princess.. What's wrong?? Tumhe koi problem hain iss marriage date se?? (all heard Randhir and stopped talking)
Sanyukta - Umm.. Randhir.. nehi.. koi problem nehi hain mujhe shaadi ke date se..
Par..
Randhir - fir..??
Sanyukta - woh.. Engagement kuch mahino baad nehi kar sakte kya..?? (her voice was small)
Gauri bhabi six month aur Shivanya eight month pregnant hain.. Aur Ishu didu ki toh due date bhi aane hi wala hain.. Aise me engagement hogi toh teeno theek se enjoy toh kar nehi payengi aur tired ho jayengi woh alag..
Babies aur teeno ki health effect hogi.. (she said lowering her head)
Harsh - baat toh bilkul sahi kahi Sanyu ne.. Shaadi ki excitement me humne yeh toh socha hi nehi..
Renuka - Beta you are right.. Abhi engagement karna theek nehi hoga.. Pandit jii aap please zara kuch mahino baad ki sagayi ka mahurat nikaliye.. (she said)
Anju - Randhir beta tumhe koi problem nehi hain nah engagement delay hone se??
Randhir - Mujhe kya problem hoga.. I'm fine with everything if my Princess is happy...
Kishor - Haan.. haan.. mujhse accha yeh baat aur kon jan sakta hain.. (he chipped making everyone confused except SanDhir)
All - Matlub?? hum kuch samjhe nehi..
Kishor - It's father-in-law and son-in-law secret..

All frowned and Sanyukta giggled as their (Kishor and Randhir) secret was not a secret for her..
Their frown disappeared as their eardrums hit with her melodious giggles..
They smiled seeing her smiles...

Ritik - (sat beside her) Sanyu tu bhi nah pagal hain.. Itni si baat thi, engagement date postpone karni thi.. Aur tu iss choti si baat ko leke tensed ho rahi gayi..
Sanyukta - Woh bhai actu..
Ritik - Kuch mat bol tu, aur meri sun.. Kabhi bhi kissi baat ko leke tensed nehi hoyegi tu aur nah hi yeh sochegi ki durse kya sochenge teri baat sunke.. Jo bhi tere man me ho aa ke bol dena hum se.. I promise we won't judge you, we won't scold you and will try our best to understand you.. Understood?? (Sanyukta nodded smilingly) Aur ek baat.. I'm proud of you.. Bohot kam log hain jo khud se pehle dusro ke bare me soche.. Aur tu toh aapne engagement date tak postpone kar rahi hain.. (he patted Sanyukta's head affectionately)
Shivanya - Yup Sanyu.. We are proud of you.. You are a sweetheart..
Shivay - (to Omkara) I was sure that Mr. and Mrs. Shekhawat Sanyu ko chote papa aur choti maa ki kami kabhi mehesus nehi hone dete.. But now I'm sure ki Sanyu ko bhai bhabi ke pyaar ki kami bhi nehi hogi.. Ritik aur Shivanya will take care of her..
Omkara - (sighed) sahi kaha.. Par mujhe behen ki kami zaroor mehesus hogi.. (smiled sadly) But I'm happy ki Sanyu ko yahan bohot pyaar milega..

Soon the priest declared another date..
Priest - Agar doo (2) hafte baad wali din pe sagayi nehi huyi toh Shaadi ke ek hefte pehle ek din hain sagayi ke liye.. Bich me koi aur accha din nehi hain..
Randhir - Shaadi ke ek hafte pehle??
Priest - Jii beta..
Randhir - (turned to Santukta) Yeh date chalega??
Sanyukta - (smiled shyly and nodded) Haan.. chalega..
Randhir - OK then.. Shaadi ke one week pehle wala date is fixed for the engagement..

Randhir declared and yet again all congratulated each other by hugging each other and feeding each other sweets..
