*Reys pov

One day later and all they'd given me to eat was an ounce of water and a slice of bread. I hadn't seen Ben-no Kylo- again since the day before, but his presence upon the ship haunted me. He had seemed so sad and lonely. No one deserved to live like that. Even a man who'd killed as many people as him.

By the second day on the same diet I was desperate. "Trooper!" I yelled. And after a moment of silence, again.

One of them dressed in the regular white armor and holding the standard blaster marched around in front of me.

"Yes." his monotone voice resonated around the hard metal cell walls around me.

"Take me to Kylo Ren." I couldn't believe I was doing this, but I know there's good in him that I could find and bring out. Okay, that and I easy dang hungry.

He laughs and releases the restraints. "I knew you'd cave."

"And I know that Kylo isn't going to like it when I tell him that one of his own troopers talked to his new apprentice like that." I can tell that the trooper was rethinking his latest actions.

"Sorry, miss." he says, dipping his head in apology. "Please come with me, I'll take you to him."

*Kylo Rens pov

When I report to the command center to check on the constriction of our new weapon, a trooper guarding the doors says something into his radio. I look his way but don't pry. I've found it makes them nervous. Just  out the window at the weapon that would take so many lives. Our new starkiller.

I hear the doors open behind me and a trooper's distorted voice a few moments later.

"Sir, the girl wanted to talk to you."

"Very well," I said still looking out over at the weapon. "I'll be there in a moment."

"Um, Sir..."

"What?" I say irritated, and turn around to see the Rey with him.

"Miss me?" she asks fluttering her eyelashes.

I growl, embarrassed at her acting this way to me in front of the very people who I control with fear. "What do you want, Rey?" I ask. The entire room is staring at us. It's so quiet you could here a coin drop.

"I have taken up your offer and accepted to be your apprentice." she said, looking off into the distence dramatically.

I sensed the fear in the room double.

"Wise choice. I will show you to your room." I said walking passed her back through the doors not checking to see that she followed but sure she did.
