Eisuke's side

Soryu and I were running back to the beach house. My breathing was ragged and my heart was pounding. I'm sure the whole island could hear it. The house was now insight. Once inside, I called out tiredly, "Kishi! Kishi!"

Kishi came running in saying, "What's wrong Eisuke? Did you find Ota?"

"Yeah we did. But, your not going to believe what we heard," Soryu spoke.

"Try me. I'm a detective for pete's sake," Kishi said with a disbelief look.

He crossed his arms and I said, "Ota's behind all of this. Soryu and I found him on the phone with someone. It was that same guy that talked with Dia. Ota told him that he knew it was too big of a job for that man. That guy pleaded to Ota! See? Ota was behind all of this!"

Kishi looked shocked but, with a shake of his head it was gone, "We should have seen this coming. I knew Ota had power, but not this much power. Guys, I've got a really bad feeling about this."

"We've got to protect Dia and Baba. Ota is feeling hurt. His moves will be messy. Maybe, no, actually his moves will be unpredictable. When he makes his move, make no doubt in mind, it'll be lethal," Soryu spoke.

I looked to the door. Ota will walk in soon. I looked back to Kishi and Soryu.

Kishi spoke, "We need to get Baba in the loop."

"What about Dia," Soryu asked.

"Not right now. Dia needs time," I said.

Suddenly the door opened. We looked to see Ota. Well crap...

Ota's side

After hanging up the phone, I sighed. Shit. I leaned up against a palm tree. Dia. I looked to my phone. My screen lock was a picture of Dia and I standing on Eisuke's beach. We were facing the water and holding hands. The sun was setting. A small smile lit my face. That day, I remembered asking Eisuke if he could snap a picture of us at the right time. Later that night, Dia was asleep and the guys and I were sitting out in the sand on the beach. Eisuke had just handed me back my phone and I immediately went to my gallery. I saw the photo and I loved it.

"Eisuke, this is fantastic!"

"Actually, I didn't take it. Baba did."

I looked over to Baba. He was lying down in the sand on his back. His arms were crossed behind his head. He was asleep. I thought he wanted Dia to himself? With a shake of my head, I came out of my daze. I started making my way back to the house. When I found myself walking in, that question came to mind. Had Baba actually been stepping down that day?

Two weeks later~

Dia's side

Baba was finally moving around. He still needed help from time to time with walking. I was really happy that Baba was back. Today we were back home. Well, Tres Spade anyway. Everyone was ready to go back home. Ota and I weren't on speaking terms. I had been sleeping in Baba's room, in a rocking chair. I realized that when we would get back that Ota and I would need to talk. I don't really know what Ota and I were going to do.

"Dia? Can I speak with you?"

I was in the kitchen, putting away dished from breakfast and my head turned to see Ota in the doorway. He seemed a little anxious. I really didn't want to face Ota just yet. I put away the last dish and faced Ota. He seemed so cold. There's just...something off. I guess sensing the hesitance, he said, "Dia, I want to talk about us. This is going to sound bs but, I know I haven't been the best boy friend."

I didn't want to talk about this yet.

"Dia, I want to repair our love. I want to hold you, kiss you-"

I stopped him there, "Ota, just please, stop. When we first got into this relationship, I wasn't sure how to handle it. But, as time went on, I realized we were just fine, " I paused to give a small smile then continues, "but then, those test came a long."

Memories of those long nights that were only filled with loneliness and sadness came back to me. Bab was really there.

"Ota, I didn't know how to respond. But, now I see you truly did have e on a leash. Now I see we were just getting by. Ota, I don't think were right for one another. I'm sorry."

Ota looked at me as if I would dissappear then, gaining his voice, "Dia. We don't have to call quits on it! Please, let's-"

I felt a single tear roll down my cheek as I cut him off by saying "Ota, enough already. I'm tired of dragging this relationship on. It's taking a mental and physical toll on us Ota. Please understand this. Please."

The last sentence came out in a whisper. My head was down. I couldn't look at Ota right now. Before either one of us could move or speak we heard, "Oi! Time to leave!"

I was making my way past Ota when suddenly I felt my arm being grabbed. I haunted in my footsteps. I looked up at Ota. His head was down and some of his hair was covering his eyes. Ota spoke, "I'm not giving up Dia. I love you. I won't stand for watching you with another man, " he lifted his head up and stared me in the eyes as he continued to say, "I won't tolerate Dia."

Right then and there, I was fearful.

"Oi! Don't make me repeat myself!"

Since Ota got distracted, I took it as my cue to get away. I took my arm back and walked quickly outside. I wiped my tears and blinked a few times to clear them. I put on a smile and said, "Sorry! I was having a hard time!"

Kishi's side (A/N: I really need to give him a part. Sorry Mamo!:( )

Dia, as soon as I saw her, I knew something was wrong. Ota followed a minute later. Damn, I thought Soryu said he was watching him. Late last night, when we were sure Ota and Dia were asleep; myself, Eisuke, Soryu, and Baba held a meeting. When we told Baba that it was Ota he said, "I knew Ota was mad at me but, I didn't think it would go so far."

"Baba, how did all this happen, " I asked.

"Kishi! Kishi! We're going to leave you, " Eisuke called.

I snapped out of my thoughts and said, "I wouldn't mind being left here."

The guys including Dia laughed. We boarded the boat. Ota sat in between Eisuke and Soryu. Dia was sitting in the middle of Baba and me. That question floated back into mind. How did all of this start? Baba hadn't answered that question. This is going to get really muddy.

~Show Time~

*Applause* Hello everyone! Welcome back! The KBTBB crew is here and our special guess! Please welcome my Internet daughter! Blake-chan! A.k.a voltage-writer! *Louder applause* *No one appears* Blake? Hold on folks! I'll go get her! *An hour passes*

Eisuke: Where the hell are they?!
Soryu: Maybe there eating pizza?
*Foot steps and then applause* Sorry! We were eating pizza! *KBTBB face-palm* *Blake and I sit* Back with the show! First I'd like to thank Blake-chan for coming to the show.
Blake: Anytime mommy! This place is awesome! I liked that pizza room especially!
That room was just for you! We'll be having another show as well! So expect another exciting guess! So, Ota, you are the bad guy. What are your feelings on this?
Ota: Well, I knew you and indigo4ever had it out for me.
Whoa! We don't necessarily have it out for you we just don't like that you would call MC Koro! Who calls their girlfriend after a dog?! I don't agree with that! Girls don't find that romantic! Anyway enough of that what are your feelings on it?
Blake: You got told son *puts on cool shades*
Ota: *rolls eyes* My feelimgs? I should be paired up with Dia! How come Baba's the hero?
Eisuke: Why aren't I getting paired up with Dia?! I'm the King?
Shut up Eisuke! Baba got nine votes while you got two or three Ota! You have fans but, it's team Babia!
Soryu: I wanna be paired up with Dia *blushes*
You just wanna eat Dia's omlete
Soryu: *Looks away blushing*
Blake: Boom! *eats pizza*
*high fives Blake*
Kishi: How come I just got my side?! Da hell Paris!
I'm sorry Mamo! :'( oh we are out of time! Thanks for sitting through this! Thank you again Blake!

A Month later~

Soryu's side (A/N: I did it again....Sorry Sor...)

I was at the Ice Dragons HQ and it was early evening. No matter how much work business I got into or the fights I've had to get in, my mind kept going back to the boat ride.

"How come the couple isn't sitting together," Kishi asked teasingly.

For right now, we were going to wait until we could catch Ota in the act. Until then, we were going to act natural. Ota who had his head down, raised his head up. His eyes...I wasn't sure how to describe. Ota opened his mouth and spoke, "Dia had informed me she was going to sit with Baba and-"
"Ota! Don't sit there and act like that! That's not fair to them! There are friends Ota! Since Kishi brought it up, I think its-"

"No. Dia-"

"No! I'm not going to pretend and lie Ota! Why would you? We need to tell them Ota."

Ota clamped up. Dia looked with disbelief at Ota. He looked in pain. Dia spoke, "I can't believe you Ota. Guy's, we're no longer together."

A knock snapped me out of it. An annoying buzzing came along with it.

"Sir? Are you alright. Your phone is buzzing."

I looked and sure enough, that annoying buzz was my phone, "Thank you Inui. I'm fine," I picked up my phone and answered it, " Hello?"

"Finally you answered your phone! Where the hell were you," Eisuke said irritated.

"Sorry. I'm off my game today."

"Thinking about that day, " Eisuke said softly.

"Yeah. Whats going on and since you mentioned that day, I'm guessing your alone?"

"Yes. Auction in an hour."

Crap. I heard Eisuke chuckles and then he said, "I'm going to take it that you forgot."

"I wasn't lying. Anyway, Eisuke, you shouldn't be alone. Where are the others?"

"I'm not stupid Soryu. I've only been alone for five minutes. I just got done with the auctioneers. Baba and Dia went out shopping. Ota is at his studio and Kishi got called in."

"Alright. I'll be there soon."

"Bye."

The phone called was ended. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair causing it to go flat. Dia after that day moved back to the dormitory where the rest of the maids gathered. She still came up to cook, clean, and hang out with us. Ota for awhile there wouldn't join us. He kept his distance. His moods swing from left to right. Finally he gave in and started coming back out. We knew Ota would try anything to get Dia back. Dia was much more brighter and happier now that Ota and her weren't dating. Her glow was more outstanding than ever. I had exited the office and told some men to double check the auction. Soon I was walking into Tres Spade then going up in the elevator and later walking into the penthouse lounge. Baba and Dia were cooking from the heavenly smell I was greeted by when I walked in. Kishi was smoking by the window and Eisuke I saw wS drinking his coffee. Dia must have made him some. I didn't see Ota, which bugged me. By the time Baba and Dia were done cooking, it was time for the auction. We were actually going to sit through it. When we arrived. No one was there. Strange. Baba I saw pull out his phone and start texting. He pouted and said, "Ugh! Ota is being mean! He won't respond to my texts."

Something seemed very off. I looked to Eisuke who said, "I know an auction was supposed to happen today. Where-"

Suddenly the lights went out then came back on. I drew out my gun and looked around. This is bad. Kishi as well pulled out his gun. It was so silent you could hear a pen drop. Next what happened, played in slow motion. I yelled, "Take cover!"

I found the shooter and a shot sounded followed by another shot wa a was from Kishi's gun. The person left and I heaed, "Dia!"

I whirled around and saw Eisuke was horrified. I looked to see Baba holding Dia. She was shot.

"Shit! We need to get her to a hospital! But, where? That guy may try and finish the job, " Kishi growled.

For once I was scared. I tried to think, then Eisuke said, "Luke!"

I looked at Eisuke. Was he crazy? Luke Foster, our senpai from school. What did he have to do with this?

"Lukes an underground doctor! We can take Dia to him. He's in the area! Not too far from here! Let's hurry! Follow me!"

Baba held Dia and we followed Eisuke through a secret passage way. When was this here? Soon we were in Tres Spades parking lot. We stopped and Eisuke clapped his hands twice. Suddenly a white Dodge Caravan pulled up. The doors opened. Eisuke got in the driver side while Kishi got in the passenger side. Baba and I got in the back. Once doors were shut a voice spoke up, "Welcome Ichinomiya Eisuke. How may I assist you today?"

"Take us to Luke Fosters home! Step on it and keep us blended in."

"Right away Mr.Ichinomya. Anything else I may assist you with?"

"Get Luke Foster on the phone."

"Calling Luke Foster."

Soon we were speeding off and Eisuke talked with Luke. After getting off the phone I said, "Do I even want to know why you have this?"

"I got the idea from Baba. That's all that needs to be known, " Eisuke turned in his seat.

"You mean the King, Ichinomiya Eisuke, took advice from Baba, the womanizer, " Dia said with a light chuckle.

"Aren't you supposed to be resting, " Eisuke tried to make it a joke.

Dia laughed then she coughed which turned into a wheeze of pain. Dia was shot in the shoulder. Dia smiled. The ride to Lukes house seem to never end. Finally we pulled up and Luke opened up the door. He told Baba to take Dia upstairs. Luke told everyone else to stay and make themselves at home. While waiting Baba said quietly, "That bullet was for me. Why did she take it?"

Eisuke, myself, and Kishi all three looked at one another. Indeed. That bullet was for Baba. Ota was still nowhere. Three hours passed and Luke came down looking exhausted. He said, "She's fine. She's stable. Right now she's resting and has a blood fusion hooked up to her. I want answers. Plus, who wants to take a guess as to why a tractor was implanted into that bullet?"

A tracker? That unnerved me to no end. We all were relieved Dia was okay.

"Had I taken the bullet and it hadn't done it's job, I would be lying in a regular hospital bed and he would have come to finish it off."

"Who's he," Luke asked.

Baba was right, "He's referring to a man named Kisaki Ota."

I looked at Kishi. He looked really stressed. Eisuke told Luke of the situation. By the time the talk was over, Luke was horrifed. We all were sitting in the living. We were drinking tea, but I wished I was drinking something stronger. I looked towards the door that Ota would walk through soon.

Kishi's side

I saw Soryu look at the door and I said, "Tonight I will be arresting Kisaki Ota."

"He deserves it for what he did and put Dia through. I'll never forgive him," Baba gritted his teeth.

Everyone was hot about that. Ota I'm sure was aware that Dia had been hurt. He was probably very hurt right. I looked up to the stairs where Dia would be. Eventually it rolled to elven at night. Dia had been in and out. Luke just checked up on her. It had been an exhausting day. But, it wasn't over yet. It wouldn't be over until Ota was arrested and put away. I knew that one day I would bring all of them in. I had a perfect opportunity to bring everyone in. Eisuke wouldn't go down. Soryu would do his time but, that wouldn't last long. The Ice Dragons and Eisuke would get him out. Baba would do the time. The one I'd be able to save is Dia. The guys would want me too. I let out a sigh. The door flew opened just then and I flew out of my seat with my gun in hand. It was dark and I had to wait. The figure stepped in and it was Ota. I breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Dammit Ota! I could've shot you!"

I put my gun away and Ota said, "Thank god I found you guys. I was deep into and project in my ear buds were in. I didn't hear my phone. So we I took a break I checked my phone and saw Baba told me the auctions were starting," Ota paused to take a breath and I took the time to look at the others. We knew he was lying, "So I ran to the hotel and to the auctions. Nobody was there. Then I found blood. I freaked out then ran up to the lounge. No one was there. Then I remembered Eisuke talking about Luke being back in town. Then I got here. Is everyone alright?"

I watched him look around and i saw he hesitated over Babs then looked back at me. I saw hatred in his eyes. He said, "Everyone's here but Dia. Where Is she?"

"Dia is none of your concern now Ota. Now, before I go on, do you mind Luke?"

"Not at all."

I took out a cigeratte and lit it. I took took a long drag and said, "You should have been an actor Ota. Not an artist. But, by the way you walked in awkwardly, I'm guessing you have a gum tucked in to the back of your pants. Soryu, would you do the honors?"

Before Ota could do anything Soryu pulled out the gun and then a small device in his other hand. Ota...I couldn't describe the emotion on his face. It was anger, sadness, scared, hurt, maybe even broken.

"Your story was impressive. If It had been any other cop it would have passed. Ota, you read your script wrong. There were several things wrong with what what you just said. First one, was the project. You haven't had a new one since you got back. I even recently asked you. The second was you didn't go to the lounge to look for us, you went to get the gun because the assassin you hired failed. The final one was, Eisuke never mentioned Luke coming back. That device Soryu is holding, helped you pinpoint this location. Man Ota, things aren't looking good for you. Eisuke and Soryu caught you talking with Baba's kidnapper that you hired yourself over the phone. Evidence just keeps piling up against huh kid? Face it Ota, we caught you in your own game."

Ota was horrified. He dropped to his knees and looked to Baba and yelled, "Damn you! I hate you!"

I sighed and finished my cigeratte. I walked up to Ota a and went behind him. I picked him up and said, "With all this evidence, it'll be easy to get a case. Kisaki Ota, you are under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to to an and tourney however if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you."

I cuffed him and Ota cried, "Dia! Dia! I love you! Please I'm sorry! I never never meant for you to get hurt! Dia!"

Dia's side

I laid there silently crying. Ota. Why? Just why?

"Why Ota?"

~Epilogue~
Five years later

Baba's side

(A/N: I can't believe this is done :'( ) "You know, if you keep sleeping all day, we're going to get lonely."

My eyes opened and I was greeted by such a beautiful sight. I smiled and sat up in bed, then I swung my legs over. My arms circled around my fiancée slim waist. I nuzzled my face to her torso gently. I heard her chuckle as she played with my hair and she said, "Today's the day we go see then. Everything is all packed and breakfast is made."

My head shot straight up. I was greeted with a smile. I pouted; never could I get mad with her.

"Dia, I thought we agreed? Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I know, I know. Baba, you've been restless the week and the week before that. You needed the sleep. Besides, the baby was relaxed and we were just fine."

Dia was four months pregnant. I was so happy. I sighed and said, "I'm sorry. I'm just edgy. Going back where where it all started. Guess I'm just scared. How pathetic of me."

"Now Baba. You are the strongest man I know. I depended on you so much. Your amazing. I'm scared too. But, nothing is going to tear us apart. I love you Mitsunari Baba."

She tapped me on the nose. I stood and took Dia's face in my hands and kissed her passionatly. After awhile we left the house and and went to the air port. Then we boarded the plane. Dia had fallen asleep. I sat there and thought about the night it had all started. Everyone was dead out including myself till pain shot through my stomach. My eyes opened and I looked to see Ota pulling Dia closer to him. It was then I noticed I had pulled Dia closer to me. I looked to Ota and I coughed.

"What the hell Ota? That hurt," I pouted.

"Shut up. Don't you dare touch what is mine. I've seen how you look at Dia," he growled in a hushed tone.

Sure, I had feelings for Dia but that was an accident, "It's not like it was on purpose Ota."

I shook my head. After a week after that is when Ota put Dia through those test. He shouldn't have done that. That one night where I took a picture of Dia and Ota on the beach, I truly had been stepping down. But, after he acted up again. I wouldn't let her go. Ota, you really did lose the best thing.

Eisuke's side

Soryu, myself, and Kishi were sitting out in the lounge. Ota was now locked up. He was no longer apart of the auctions. He would be in jail for twelve years. He deserved it for what he did. Since Dia and Baba disappeared, it was lonely here. I had been watching the news to hear anything of the Great Lupin but, nothing. It was late in the afternoon when the door to the lounge opened. I looked up and my eyes widen. Baba and Dia stood there. But that wasn't the only shock. Dia was...pregnant. She smiled and said, "Hi guys!"

I ran to Dia and hugged her. She's alright. Thank god. My heart pounded.

"Eisuke! I wanna hug, " Baba pouted.

"Thank god you guys are okay. Kid, when did you grow up? Good gravy, you look amazing."

"Glad to have you two back, " Soryu said.

I pulled back and said, "Come on and sit. Tell us where you two have been. When does this little one get to greet us?"

We sat and talked. It was way into the night before we were done. We were eating Dia's cooking and I was so happy.

"Please say your staying Dia. I've lost like ten pounds. You need to put that back on me, " Kishi said.

We all laughed. This was the beginning.
