  Badgerwish padded through the woods. The trees felt so familiar, yet so different. She longed to go home, but she knew she couldn't. The milky light of dawn filtered through the trees and Badgerwish gave a sigh of relief as her star disappeared into it. She laid down in the roots of one of the trees and slept.
  "My sister, it is good to see you again," Badgerwish turned at the sound of Bearclaw's voice.
  "Bearclaw!" Badgerwish ran up and shoved her muzzle into his chest fur, her brother's warm breath and familiar scent made her feel safe, like she always had when he was around. Padded back a step and looked at her brother.
  "I'm glad you could tell pir sign, and that you are following it, no matter how far. I promise you, you're close to the end of your journey," Bearclaw mewed. He began to fade.
  "No Bearclaw don't leave me!" Badgerwish wailed.
  "I will always be with you,"  Bearclaw's voice came as a whisper on the wind.
  Badgerwish opened her eyes to her place in the roots of the tree. She could still smell Bearclaw's scent next to her, and she could feel his fur brushing hers. She stepped out of the roots, her belly rumbled. She opened her mouth to find prey. Squirrel scent wafted towards her. She crouched down and moved carefully and sneakily toward it.
  She found the red-orange squirrel at the roots of a tree, munching on a nut. She pounced, barely landing on the squirrel's tail before it could shoot up the tree. She quickly killed it and thanked StarClan for the prey. Then she ate it quickly. She padded to a nearby stream to drink from it.

  Badgerwish ran after the shooting star. She could see in the distance more peaks. She gasped. Another mountain! She watched as the star sped towards it.
  'That's where I'm going,' Badgerwish silently meowed.
  She ran harder. Extra energy surged through her and she briefly cools smell the scent of Bearclaw and her parents.
  'Thank you, Bearclaw, Skunkfur, and Lighteye,'
  She was soon in sight of the mountains close up. She noted t was smaller than the Tribe's mountain.
  "You are almost there," Bearclaw's voice mewed in her ear.
