  Badgerwish padded over the mountains to the land she had passed a few moons ago, the Tribe Of Sparkling Stars' hunting patrol of Spots, Sunlight, Wisps, and Jackal followed behind her.
  "This is where you might be able to find some food," Badgerwish mewed to them, looking out at the land then at the sky, over the mountains of the Tribe Of Rushing Water, over to her home. "And where I will leave you."

  Badgerwish took a deep breath before passing onto the barrier, thorns gripped her pelt, but Badgerwish ignored them. She padded into the ravine, where cats were busily going from one place to another. Badgerwish spotted two familiar pelts beside the prey pile, heads together whispering about something. Slowly, Badgerwish padded over to the two toms.
  "I'm back," She mewed softly as she came within earshot of the pale yellow and tan toms.
  They stopped talking, perking their ears before slowly turning to look at her.
"Badgerwish!" Bayshore was the first to speak, his voice overwhelmed. "We thought you were dead!"
  The other tom bowled Badgerwish over in excitement.
  "Don't ever scare is like that again! Sapstar has been mourning since the third search party came back without any trace of you, and that was a moon ago!" Appletree meowed.
  "Sapstar needs to see!" Bayshore has barely finished speaking before heh bolted for Sapstar's den.
  By the time the sap-colored she-cat has entered the clearing, the Clan was gathered around Badgerwish, they parted for Sapstar as she padded forward, looking a Badgerwish as if she were a ghost.
  "I'm so glad you're okay, but that was very immature to leave and without telling anyone!" Sapstar's time was angry, but Badgerwish could hear the relief in her voice.
  "I'm sorry, Sapstar," Badgerwish mewed, bowing her head respectfully, "StarClan sent me to help two Tribes with a prey dispute, and I was afraid your wouldn't let me go if I asked."
  "Well, you're back just in time," Sapstar mewed, jumping onto the Highrock and calling the summons.
  Badgerwish took a spot near the back, and looked over to see Featherstorm exit the nursery with three kits right behind, a bolt of guilt shot through Badgerwish, she didn't even know her friend's kits' names!
  "Today three kits have become six moon old," Sapstar mewed, "Icekit, come forward."
  A white she-cat with pale blue eyes padded forward.
  "From this moment on, until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Icepaw, your mentor will be Badgerwish," Sapstar rested her amber gaze on Badgerwish, whose northern light-colored eyes were full of surprise, she continued as Badgerwish padded up and touched noses with Icepaw wordlessly, "Badgerwish, you were mentored by me, I trust you will pass your kindness and loyalty onto this apprentice."
  Sapstar continued on with Icepaw's other two siblings. Currentpaw, a blue-gray tom with green eyes, given to Bayshore, and Skypaw, a blue-gray she-cat with white spots and sky blue eyes, to Appletree.
  Badgerwish looked up at the sky, the sun was only a little ways from sunset.
  "We have some time, I'll Yep you the borders, then we'll come back," Badgerwish mewed to Icepaw. who nodded back.
