Her eyes flashed open as she regained consciousness.

Her bandaged wrists, covered in the white gauze, greeted her downcast gaze.

A tear slipped from the corner of her eye.

Oh how I wish I could be the one to wipe it away.

If only she could see me.

Her gaze flashed up and looked at me, as though she could really see me.

And a horrified scream flew from her mouth.

"Who are you?"

"What are you doing in my room?"

She asked.

I looked around and saw no one, but myself and the heartbroken girl.

Never had this happened to me.

Someone could see me.

A terrified father ran into her room and asked her what was wrong.

She pointed at me and her father turned, but saw nothing.

He could not see me.

Why was she different now?

What had changed?

Unsure of what to do, he gave her another pill,

Hoping it would calm her down.

But she was still terrified.

He soon left her to call a doctor.

He had no idea what was wrong with her.

But I did.

She could see me when she could never before.
