Jack's POV:
I was currently getting ready for my date with Evie; our first date to be exact. I want everything to be perfect since I've never actually been on actual date; unless you count the times her and I hung out with our friends Parker and Quinn. "Scar, have you seen my yellow velvet jacket?" I shouted down the hall of our apartment.

"It should be in your closet." She shouted back, I could tell she was getting annoyed with me cause I've been bugging her every five minutes.

"I'm looking and it's not here!" I started searching my clothes for the fifth time, "I really want to wear it tonight cause dad wore it on his first date with mom!" I started breathing heavy that I didn't notice she had walked into the room holding my jacket.

"Jack you need to calm down or you're going to trigger another attack. Look I have the jacket right here everything is going to be okay." She spoke softly, which helped bring my breathing down again. "Better?!" I nodded and took the jacket and slipped it on over my white T-shirt. "Awe little brother, you look just like him." She smiled.

"You think she'll like it?" I looked in the full length mirror I had on the back of my closet door.

She had walked up behind me and put her arm on my shoulder, "She's going to love it."

"Awesome! I think I'm just about ready to leave." I gave the jacket one last pop of the collar and grabbed my wallet and keys.

"Not just yet baby brother," she reached in her back pocket and pulled out her phone, "You need some money." She handed me thirty dollars.

"Scar you don't have to-" I started to say but she cut me off.

"Nonsense! It's my brother's first date, I want to." She persisted. I just smiled and put the money in my wallet. "So are you picking her up?!"

"I wanted to, but she said she would just meet me there."

She nodded "Where are you meeting?"

"It was a toss up between Cheesecake Factory or Applebee's and she was okay with Applebee's."

"A girl whose not extravagant, I love it. Don't mess this up." She playfully pushed me.

"I wasn't planning on it." I ran a hand through my hair, giving it a quick fluff. "Do I look okay?!"

"You look fine bud, quit worrying. You're both going to have an amazing first date and then your going to start dating and then get married and live happily ever after." She smiled brightly, hugging me.

"Let's just get through tonight before we start picking out wedding rings." I let out a small chuckle.

"Fine, but I'm telling you I have this feeling that she's the one." She winked and walked out the room.

Maybe she's right, I'm over thinking this date too much. I need to just relax and see where the night takes us. I'm going on a date with a cute, funny, caring, sarcastic, intelligent and interesting girl who I actually really really like. Everything is going to be perfect; I just need to breathe!

For my girl happythriving also I was thinking since Evie is your character maybe you wanted to do her POV of getting ready for the date...Like you can use the reason for her not wanting him to pick her up as her back story. Maybe she doesn't want to tell him about her family just yet! Up to you, just thought I ask and see what you thought!
