(Sinon POV)

Kirito and I rushed out the bedroom and everyone was already awake, eating breakfast.

"Lis, I need you to make me a new bow and arrows, preferably more durable," I announced, taking a slice of toast.

"Now?" She asked, alarmed. I nodded with a serious expression.

"O-Okay," she stuttered, quickly finishing her breakfast.

"What's going on?" Klein stood, his hands on the table.

"We have a boss fight to prepare for," I responded grimly. I could see they were terribly lost.

"A boss fight? Why?" Asuna questioned, after she wiped her lips with a napkin, finishing her breakfast.

"It's Ken," Kirito mumbled. The group wasn't prepared for the news, and most of them looked extremely shocked.

"But, Ken's a player, just like us, how is this possible?" Silica muttered.

"I mean, look at everything Ken's done. His hacks and reprogramming. I don't know why this is so shocking, given what we've seen him do," Klein murmured with a concerned expression.

That's right. Ken's been able to do what no one has ever been able to do. He even became a boss. I don't know what to expect anymore. With all his hacked abilities and cheats, and now he's a boss?

He must have newer abilities now that's he's a boss. The surprises we'll soon face, this worries me. But with a determined face, I crossed my arms and spoke.

"This is just another boss. This is just another quest. We've never failed before. Let's not start now," I spoke calmly, within all this madness, within all this worry and fear, there had to be a level headed person. Someone to keep their cool. And that's always been me. I'm not going to stop now.

They're scared enough. Hell, I'm a little scared too. But that's not what we need right now.

"Sinon," Kirito mumbled. I glared at all of them.

"We won't fail, we'll triumph over all the odds, like we always have, don't worry," I lifted my fist over my chest, over my heart.

"I promise, I'll always have your back, so go and take him down, know I'm watching out for you," my eyes threatened to tear up but with everything I had, I held them back.

"Have faith, until what seems like the very end, have faith, and push on. With everything you've got, push on, and don't stop," I spoke with conviction. Even though I was scared, I believed we could get through this.

They stayed silent for a moment, I couldn't read them. Their expressions were blank, until I saw them smirk.

"You're right," Klein nodded approvingly. Lisbeth looked at me admirably.

"Sinon, you're so cool," Silica's eyes glistened, breaking the serious atmosphere. This caused the group to chuckle, Asuna patted her head with a giggle.

I blushed at the compliment. Everyone was standing, and they all placed their fists on their chest, over their heart, one by one, it brought tears to my eyes that I couldn't hold back anymore. We were a team. And as a team, we'll all make it out. As a team, we'll push on.

"We're with you," Kirito spoke, the last one to place his fist over his heart.

I quickly wipe away the tears with a determined smile.

"Well let's get started," I announced. Everyone began to prep for this boss event.

Kirito and Asuna were discussing a game plan, a strategy, with a chart and the map on their player screens, with Silica listening intently.

I went with Lisbeth, who was going to make my new and improved bow and arrow.

Klein came along, since he wanted to upgrade some of his items too.

This boss battle will take everything we've got. But like always, we'll push on.

So here's a short chapter.

Its true what Sinon said. Push on. With every thing you've got. With everything you are, push on, and don't stop. Don't stop. Don't stop living. Don't stop trying. Don't stop becoming a better you. Don't stop, and push on. No matter how dark this world may seem. No matter how bad things seem, push on.
