If I don't move maybe he won't hurt me. I stay silent as he growls. He turns towards me and my eyes widen but I still don't move. He walks towards me growling and I close my eyes waiting for to get attacked but it doesn't come.

He growls at me and I look up. He shakes his head in wolf form and backs up. "Huh?" "I think it's his wolf. I can sense him. He's trying to talk to us." My wolf Blair tells me.

Alexander wolf whimpers and comes closer. He puts his nose in the crook of my neck and purrs. "He says that he doesn't mean to hurt you. Alexander has never let his wolf talk in his head or out unless of an attack which never happens in this pack. He says he's sorry for Alexander's behavior."

"I accept your apology." The wolf nods. "What's your name?" "It's Alec." I nod my head listening to everything my wolf is telling me.

The wold growls and backs up. I could tell Alexander was coming back. His growl became more vicious but he whimpered at the same time. He scratched at my side and I hissed in pain. The wolf starting whimpering and growling.

I hear a  sickening crack and Alexander was back in human form. "I'm so sorry Valerie." My eyes widen. His voice was mixed in with his wolf. "I never meant for Alexander to be such an asshole."

He growls and Alexander is back. "What the fuck!" He walks towards me and I close my eyes. I open them once more and flinch at how close he is.

"Who did this! The doctor said you needed to fucking heal! I whimper even more. He rips some of the fabric off his shirt and ties it around the big gash on my side. "Now are you going to tell me who did this!" "It was you! You did this to me darn it!"

It's silent for a while and he stands there with his eyebrows knit together. "When?" I huff and roll my eyes. "When you were in wolf form." I couldn't even tell anymore if I was talking to Alexander or his wolf Alec.

He picks me up and I start to panic. "Um alpha, I think you should put me down."

He shakes his head and continues to walk back to his spot. He sits down with me in his lap and runs his hand through my hair. "Alexander!" He blinks a couple of times and looks down at me frowning. "What the hell!" He picks me up growling.

He throws me with all force and I go head first slamming into the wall. My vision becomes blurry and I look up to see Alexander pacing back in forth holding onto his head.

"Didn't I tell you to never come out again! Look what your causing! I can't do anything without you ruining things. That's why I have to kill the poor girl cause of you!"

What is he talking a- I couldn't finish because I had already blacked out.

3 days later

"W-where am I?" I look around and it's the same cell. Alexander in his usual spot eating the food they bring us. I couldn't remember anything at all after passing out.

"W-what happened?"Alexander looks up at me and his eyes widen. "Did you hear a thing before you had passed out?" I shake my head. "I can't remember a thing that happened. "Good."

I sit up and wince a little at my side. "When did that get there?" I shrug it off and sit up and little bit more. "How long was I out for?" "Three days."

I close my eyes holding in some of the tears that threat to spill. My head is pounding and my body is sore.

I'm so freaking weak and I hate it! My tears come out and I sniffle. "I'm sorry dad. I let you down. Mom down, and even James."

My sob becomes louder. "I miss you so much. I wish you could come back. It was all my fault for running out. Stupid stupid Valerie." I grab my hair and tug on it.

"This cell is driving me insane!" I feel hands on my wrist and I look up. It was Alexander. "Calm down mutt before you pass out again."

He removes my hands from my hair and sits next to me. "Here." He hands me a plate of food. It consists of vegetables some type of meat. I push it away with my left hand.

I still have the cast on my right. "You have to eat." He pushes it back towards me and places the fork and my hand. I put the fork down on the plate and he groans. He scoops food on the fork and holds it to my mouth.

"Open." Is he serious? I shake my head and he growls. "Open your damn mouth." I open it and he places the nasty food in my mouth.

I finish and he puts the plate with his. "They are letting us go outside for a few minutes to get fresh air." The cell door opens and chains are in the guards hand.

Alexander stands up and helps me stand up. I lean against him the whole time even though I didn't want contact with his body. It was because of how weak I was.

We reached outside and guards were everywhere. If we wanted to escape we couldn't. They let us out of the chains and Alexander gets into wolf form and starts running around.

I sit there in the grass. I never shifted since the age of thirteen. It was my first time shifting and last. After that I just couldn't shift anymore. I let the sun hit my skin and I sigh.

"Are you going to shift?" "No..... I can't." "Why?" "Haven't shifted since thirteen", I shrug. He frowns but goes back to exercising.

I'm surprised how he keeps his abs and doesn't really workout since being in the cells.

"Times up!" Alexander walks over and slides his t shirt on. He helps me stand up and walks behind me. "Your walking to slow."

He picks me up by surprise and carries me back to the cells.  He sets me down in my spot and he takes the bed. "He's still the selfish alpha he will always be."
