I was so happy, everyone was, I was proud of Asher for doing such a great job, I was sure he will do well and he did, while everyone was rejoicing, I went to him quickly and hug him tight.

"You were cool in there" I said making him chuckle.

"Oh so now I'm cool uhn?" He asked and I nodded childishly. Someone cleared his throat beside us and that happened to Stanice.

"This is not your work place Stanice" Asher attacked him before he could even say a thing, I wonder why they both act like two crazy men fighting over a woman or is there one I'm not aware of?

"Thanks for reminding me but I can see that myself" he replied and turned to me "Tunica, I want to see you now" he told me.

"It's not working hours, you can't just order her around" Asher shot at him but I held on to his arm calming him.

"Just one minute" I told Asher who pouted like a kid making me laugh. I went along with Stanice over to his car where he stopped and turned to me.

"There will be a party immediately to celebrate the success" he informed but I knew I couldn't go, even though I really wished to.

"I'm very much occupied Stanice, I need to finish up my packing, you see I will be moving.......... "

" No excuse, tell everyone about it and Tunica, be there" he ordered and just left. I had to return to Asher who was waiting by his car, he was to take me back since he drove me here and we will go sort out my moving but plans seemed to have changed.

"Party at Stanice's house now!" I told him and he frowned immediately.

"What party? We have plans Tunes, ain't you moving again?" He asked me.

"That can be done tomorrow, come on!" I replied him and without waiting for another word, I went to invite others, they were excited. Larry even hugged me and said "thanks for getting me such a good lawyer".

" Let's go" I said as I got into Asher's car and he only kept frowning as he drove making me laugh at his childishness.

"Come on Ashes you ain't 10 anymore, you are a man" I reminded him but he did not budge, the drive was completely quiet until we got to our destination, is he really serious?

"Smile baby boy, smile" I told him but he just got out of his car, why is he so pissed off, even at me. I went after him and stopped him quickly.

"Why do you hate Stanice so much?" I asked him, I kinda figured this is more about Stanice than me moving. After all it's my moving.

"He is proud, too full of himself and HE LIKES YOU" he said in a serious tone but looking like a baby at the same time.

"Stanice doesn't like me" I told him and laughed mockingly.

"You would not even know love even if it was staring right at you" he said leaving me confused. Does Stanice really like me? Even if, why does it annoy him?

"What?" I replied and he shook his head.

"I'm saying, you wouldn't know love even if it was standing right in front of you" he yelled, what exactly is his problem, what is he saying.

"I don't get you" I replied and once again he shook his head.

"That's what I thought" he replied and turned to leave but he can't leave me all confused. I pulled him back, he seems really frustrated right now.

"Asher, what exactly are you...."

"This" he said cutting me off and smashed his lips on mine catching me off guard, Asher my best friend is actually kissing me. I pushed him away and yelled.

"What is wrong with you" and went inside. Everyone was there already so I decided to sit and probably have fun.

"I'm glad you came" Stanice said and I only smiled, thoughts of Asher kissing me still lingered as I couldn't phantom any reason for that to happen.

I still wonder what he meant by me not knowing love even if it stood before me. It has never once happened to me, I've only had the misfortune of being around cheaters and liars.

It took Asher a while to come in, I wondered what took him so long to come in and once again I remembered the kiss and thought about what it could possibly mean.

"I don't think I invited him" Stanice said gaining my attention, I looked up to Asher and saw him smirk right that moment I knew it was about to go down.

"What are you celebrating if the person who made the success possible is not there" Asher replied, this definitely is not going to end well. He came to beside me though probably planning to seat by my side but both spaces by my side was already taken. Tania was on the left while Billy was seated at my right side.

"I'm sure you can see those seat are taken" Stanice said, I could see the frustration in Asher's eyes as he replied "Not blind" and them pleaded with Billy to allow him take his seat. Billy gladly accepted and sat else where.

"I'm so grateful lawyer Asher" Larry told Asher and he smiled.

"It's all good" he replied.

Stanice rolled his eyes and said "We paid him for it, he only did his job" was he not being too much today? He obviously is just trying to get on Asher's nerves.

I held onto Asher's hand, calming him and he nodded in response to my gesture.

"I could have done a bad job despite being paid and you Mr, would have been ruined" Asher replied, he just isn't to the one to stay quiet is he? Were they planning on ruining this little party for everyone with their childish banters?

"Oh" Stanice said arching his brow with a cocky smile. "You could have ruined your reputation" he added.

Asher gave out a fake loud laughter "My reputation of never losing a case? Well...... One can't bring me down but it could ruin everything you ever had" he replied.

I was completely pissed off now, why can't one of them decide to act matured, acting like two kids fighting over a candy.

"Stop it you two, why are you being so childish?" I yelled and got up from where I sat, Asher held my hand but I pulled it out of his grasp. "Look around, everyone is totally frustrated and tired thanks to your bickering. You were meant to be at your best behavior, both of you are just......." I ran out of words and left angrily only to realise after I got outside that Asher was my ride.

"How great" I muttered. I quickly ordered a ride home and I while waiting Asher came outside to meet me.

I heard yelling from inside as I was leaving earlier on, I guess now that they are done, he thinks it is time to come plead with me. After embarassing themselves along with me.

"I'm sorry" he said but I ignored him, if only he had ignored Stanice, must they always bicker at each other?

"Tunica please say something" he pleaded but I remained silent, in no time, my ride came and I left him standing there.

If they both plan to be stupid and crazy, I'd let them continue but in my absence. As I got closer to my house, I remembered Hilda and became even more angry. Everyone in my life is just one problem or another.

Hilda and I are yet to settle our differences ever since, no matter how much she or Asher tried. As long as she keeps up with her attitude and keep to crazy things, we won't make up.

Asher's POV

I watched her leave in a cab and I couldn't even do anything, she was obviously disappointed in me but Stanice is just impossible, I could not just watch him insult me and go scot free, I should have known this crazy party was just for him to get on my nerves and shouldn't have come.

I got in my car and drove straight home, I thought I will get the chance to tell Tunica how I feel since she seem so blind to it all, after all these years she still can't see it hate she is the main cause of my singleness, the main reason every lady seem wack to me.

I crashed into my sofa and kept thinking of what to do but nothing came to mind, so I did what I don't need to think about. Get drunk!

Stanice's POV

"That was just too much, I don't think there is a point to this party anymore" Larry told me and left with Harrisa, Billy left as well and then Tania who left, shaking her head.

Asher! I just can't think of any other person I dislike as much as him, well.... except Stanley. Why can't he just leave my Tunica to me?

Three years ago when she started working with me, I had unknowingly fallen for her but she was with the dickhead Carrick and even when I met Stella and grew to love her, Tunica never left my heart. I was still with Stella when she broke thing off with Carrick and I just couldn't think of hurting Stella.

Finally, I get the chance and wants to start making moves, Asher chose to appear. I know they have always been friends but I see how he looks at her with love, I know he really likes her.

Well... At least my plan worked tonight, they fought and she wouldn't be moving in with him.

STUPID STANICE, HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS MOVING IN WITH HIM.
