"Get someone else" He said in anger.

"But he is good, why are you so against him?" I asked in reply, oh Stanice and I are arguing about my choice of Lawyer, he seem to be so much against Asher and I know Asher will be just great for this.

Asher is a fan of Larry, Asher is a good lawyer, Asher would not want to let me down.

"I don't want him Tunica, get someone else" He yelled in frustration.

"Fine but you will be getting that someone else yourself and don't come complaining when Larry gets imprisoned" I told him as a matter of factly. He sighed shaking his head.

"Fine but if he acts all egostic around me, I will strangle him" he replied and I left his office smiling, I have a load of work on my hand.

I have to meet Asher as soon as possible, Larry, his manager, Harrisa as well, I am not just the assistant to the CEO Stan entertainment but it was also my duty to make sure everything runs smoothly.

I drove straight down to Asher's workplace MAXIM LAW FIRM owned by my dear friend Asher, that young, crazy man has it going well for him.

I met his secretary at her desk and out of formality went to her first..

"Good afternoon ma'am, I am here to see Asher" I said, she stared at me like I was some beggar, is this how she treats Asher's guests or business associates?

"That should be Lawyer Hamilton" she replied correcting me, I breathe out heavily trying to control my anger.

"I am here to see Lawyer Hamilton" I corrected myself, it was not hee fault after all, it was me who decided to respect her by going through her. She gave me a really dirty look that pissed me off even more, but why?

"Do you have an appointment?" She asked in reply, still with her look. What have I done wrong? I thought to myself, I checked myself out to confirm if I looked any less than I should.

"No but you can......

"I am sorry, you can't see him without an appointment" she said cutting me off. What a rude bitch. If not because of the urgency of this situation I would have just waited till he went home like always.

I gave Asher a call, stupid me, this is what I should have done earlier.

"Hey Ashes, I am with your secretary here but she won't let me in" I said immediately he picked up, the bitchy secretary scoffed and I threw her a killer look.

"Oh my, I would be out there now" He replied.

"Is she always this rude? Staring at clients like they were piece of trash?" I asked Asher who just laughed and appeared before me. He came and gave me a hug.

"To what do I deserve the honour of such a great guest" He asked smiling, I could see the secretary stare at me badly.

"Something big, this secretary of yours though will make all of your clients leave"  I told him still angry at her. He then turned to her.

"What have you done this time Matilda?"

"Nothing" She replied, pissing me off even more.

"So she lied against you?" Asher asked calmly, I know where this was heading to, Asher can't stand liars.

"Well.... I was not rude to her" she replied nonchalantly. Asher was visibly angry now.

"So she lied?" He asked again but this time in annoyance.

"Maybe" Matilda replied.

"I never knew you were a liar, this is not the first complaint I am getting, you are always rude to my female clients and you know what? This is the height of it, you are fired" he told her and pulled me inside. (I think Tunes is mouthed).

He put off his suit and hung it on a stand next to his seat while I took time to take a good look at his office, awards here and there, files on a shelve and so many boring things.

"Your office is boring" I told him sitting on his desk, my legs in between his.

"If anyone walked in they will get the wrong Idea" He said and I shrugged.

"Young Larry is in trouble" I told him, being serious for the first time since I got here.

"I saw it, he allegedly raped a minor" he replied and I nodded.

"She happens to be his girlfriend, why will he rape her?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"He probably was on drugs, high on alcohol or she just refused him" Asher replied in a quite serious tone. I know Larry so well, alcohol yes but drugs no and he won't rape anyone. "Or he was famed by someone who hates him, I saw the picture though, the girl was looking nothing like raped" He added, was she? But who hates Larry? No one! He has a lot of people who loves him, you barely see hateful comments on anything that has to do with him, he is an easy going young boy, so who hates him.

"Tell me about the girl" he said.

"Ok, I found out she is 17, will be 18 in three months and in her senior year in high school, Rainbow high specifically. I found out from Stanice that they have been together for two years and that Harrisa is Stanley's Cousin" I told him.

He went silent for a while and then he started checking out something from his phone, I wondered what it was until he turned his phone screen to me. A picture of Harrisa and Larry on Instagram with the caption

Oh, so he was digging up on her.

"This was posted a few hours after the supposed rape! Why will she post that if he raped her?" Asher asked me.

"No idea, he did not!" I said in reply.

"Get me an appointment with Young Larry please and Stanice as well"

"I will"

"I will do what I can, trust me" he said reassuringly.

"Of course I do" I replied and left, he walked me to my car though and guess what? His secretary desk was empty. Next time she won't mess with the wrong person.
