Chapter 12

3rd Perspective
"Why did Azmorigan pick you anyways?" Seela asked.

"I think it was because the other bounty hunters were to busy to take the job so, he contacted me," Liz said. She took a short pause. "Also because he thought that the other bounty hunters were to greedy. Always wanting a lot of credits, especially if they are on a hunt for a Jedi."

"Aren't all bounty hunters greedy?" Zeb asked. Liz nodded. "Then what's the difference?"

"I wasn't as greedy as the other bounty hunters, that's why."

"So, you met Ezra on bounty hunter mission," Zander remarked.

"Indeed, but the story isn't over, yet. The ending is short just so you know," Liz continued.

*Beginning of flashback*

Liz went to Capital City first. Asking the people if they knew someone named Erza Bridger, many of them didn't look at her nor did they know who he is. They ignored her questioned, but Liz sensed that Ezra was the planet. Just not in Capital City. She could sense that they people were lying to her, they knew where and who Ezra was.

"Are you the girl that is looking for Ezra Bridger?" a boy, around 7 years old, called.

"Yes, do you know where he is?" Liz kneeled to his level. The boy nodded. "May you tell me?"

"Of course, anything for a beautiful lady like you," the little boy said. Liz blushed, nobody has said that to her. It was adorable how a young boy like him has manners. She used to have manners. "He is in Kingston."

"Kingston," Liz mumbled under her breath. She hasn't heard that name in years. Liz grabbed four credits and gave it to the boy. He had a shocked expression on his face.

"What's this for?"

"For helping me, now, I must go. Thank you for your kindness," Liz stood up and left, not letting the boy say anything else. It felt weird saying and doing that.

Liz was in her ship, changing into clothes that didn't seem like she was a bounty hunter. Eventually, she had a plain dark purple tank top and some white pants. She still had her black boots on, had a knife hidden inside the boot, along with a small blaster in the other.

Liz hid her ship in between a circle made of rocks and headed to Kingston, on foot.

By the time she got there, she just began her plan, which was pretty stupid of her.

"Wait, I can't just walk up to a Spectre and ask them if I can come to their base," Liz whispered. She found out that Erza is apart of a rebel group called 'The Spectres.'

'If I could pretend to be in trouble with a few stormtroopers, then the Spectres will definitely help. Well, hopefully they will,' Liz thought.

And just like that, Liz was able to find near by stormtroopers and mess with them. Unfortunately, it was to good, they started chasing her. Liz went down a dark alley, the stormtroopers were shooting at her. Minutes later, someone started to shoot from on top of a building.

They all stopped, Liz crouched behind a crate. Five other shots and the troopers were dead on the floor. Liz came out of her hiding spot.

"Hello?" Liz's word echoed slightly. A girl jumped down. She seemed to be Liz's age, but couldn't tell. She was in the shadows, casted down by a building blocking the sun. "Uhh, hi."

"Hey," the girl stepped out of the shadow. She had shoulder length hair that was blond, drak green eyes that were somehow glowing, and a cloak covering her body.

"Umm, thank you for helping me," Liz looked at her. The girls eyes were also looking at her, she took a step forward.

"No problem. That's what the Spectres do, help others in need." Liz's eyes widened. She's apart of the Spectres. "So, how did you get in trouble with them? Most people don't get chased by stormtroopers unless they did something really bad."

She was on to Liz.

"Well, I was playing around with my, uhh, brother and, umm, I accidentally bumped into them and I didn't apologize. They got mad and started chasing me," Liz didn't sound believable, to her she didn't.

"Hmh," the girl said. She wasn't convinced, but she didn't say anything. She wanted to see how far her lie will last until she comes clean. The girl didn't trust her. "Right, anyways see you around."

"Wait! What's your name?"

"Lexi, my name is Lexi. What's yours?"

"Liz."

Lexi spun around. She's heard that name before. "Liz? As in the bounty hunter Liz?"

'Shit'

"No, my name is just Liz. More than one person can have the same name," Liz gulped. She was worried, she might need to take her down. Which Liz didn't mind.

"I guess. Seems kind of convenient that your name is the same as a bounty hunters and that our leader is Ezra, the one that knows a lot of information about the Empire. Seems like something the Empire would do. Hire a bounty hunter to find him," Lexi spit. Liz gulped once more.

"Trust me. I am no bounty hunter," Liz said. The sun was down by now. "May I stay at your base?" Lexi's eyebrow raised in suspicion. "My house is pretty far and I don't want to get into trouble with the other troopers that are around, please?"

Lexi let Liz come along with her. Turns out Lexi is the same age as Liz. Her tattoo on the corner of her left eye still made no sense to Liz why she would get it there.

They arrived at the base. Lexi entered the password and the door opened. A few things were still being constructed inside, but they didn't mind. Spectres were walking everywhere, a few checking monitors that were surrounding the area. Liz fell behind, but was able to catch up to Lexi.

"So, where is your leader?" Liz asked, calmly. Lexi looked at Liz, her glowing eyes penetrating her soul.

"Geez, you seem pretty anxious to see him. Like if you have a crush on him," Lexi mocked. Liz never heard of Erza nor did she ever like anyone. Didn't seem highly she will like someone like Ezra at all.

"First of all, gross. I don't like him," Liz corrected her. Lexi rolled her eyes. "Maybe you do, but I don't."

Lexi gave her an expression that was unnatural. Liz chuckled.

"Yeah right," Lexi said, sarcasticly. They arrived at the room Ezra was in. He too, was wearing a cloak.

"Ezra," Lexi yelled. Ezra turned around. His electric blue eyes were like Liz's. "This is Liz. She will be staying here for awhile."

"Okay, doesn't mind me. Why is she staying here after all?" Ezra walked forward. Liz felt a light tug. Something was calling her to him, something strong.

"Well, I am very far away from my home and it can take me a while to get there. I can contact my mother and tell her I will be there in a few days," Liz said.

"What about your brother?" Lexi asked.

"He is on his way home as we speak. I usually stay a few hours after he goes."

"Alright. You may stay like I said before," Ezra walked closer. Both, Ezra and Liz felt something. A small bond, something Ezra has been using every since he was living on the streets of Lothal. And he didn't even know he was using it until his master came along.

He felt the Force.

*Ending of flashback*
