"Jimin? Do you know where Yoongi hyung is right now? You're both called to the office."
The phone lightly against his ears, Jimin looks over to the couch to check if his hyung is still there.
"Yeah. Is there anything wrong?"
"Not at all. I think you two have an offer? It's something big. I can't be there, though; I have to be somewhere else. But I think it's good. It isn't anything bad."
Humming, Jimin walks over to the sleeping Yoongi on the couch, arms wrapped around a pillow. "Okay. Thank you for telling me, Namjoon hyung. I'll wake him up and get ready."
"Of course he was sleeping... otherwise he would've answered his phone," he hears Namjoon mutter under his breath. "Anyways, great! I hope you two can accept this deal... although, it seems very overwhelming and... unconventional. But, it's an interesting offer. And it might change things for the better. So, it's something to go for, I guess. I've discussed with Bang PD-nim about some of it already, but we'll probably talk about it again together with the group."
Before Jimin can even ask what it is, Namjoon is already bidding goodbye and hanging up. Sighing, he gently drops his hand with the phone down to his side, looking at Yoongi, wondering how to wake the other up.
Shrugging, he prays for his life before crouching down and shaking the other.
"Hyung... hyu—ng. We're being called to the office."
Yoongi mumbles something before making incoherent sounds, stirring.
Taking a loud breath, Jimin takes a hold of Yoongi's arm and pulls him up to a sitting position before he lets go, the man flinging back down. He was awake for sure, now.
"What the fuck? That was such a nice dream. What do you want, Jimin?" He asks, cracking his eyes open, rubbing his side with an arm.
"We're called to the office."
"Just us two?"
"Yes...?"
Yoongi raises his eyebrows in suspicion. "You don't sound too sure."
An exasperated breath leaves Jimin before he says with sureness. "Yes. Just us two."
"Why?"
"I don't know. Some deal apparently. He didn't tell me what over the phone. But, we have to go."
Yoongi yawns as he sits up, rubbing the side of his nose.
"Okay. I'll be ready in ten minutes."

When the two heard they're being offered a deal, they had no idea it would be something like this.
"You mean... you want us to act in a movie... where we fall in love? With each other?" Yoongi asks, trying not to lose his shit. Was this ridiculity what he was woken up for?
Jimin, however, deals with it calmly.
"Can we refuse?"
"You can but... it's better if we accept. It's a big director, and he thinks this will be what might change the country's thought on homosexuality."
"But why us?"
"I don't know. He said he thought your faces and general personality fit the characters perfectly. And, he wanted you two to act in this, and he would get it no matter what. So, it's better to accept now than be hindered later by him."
"But, we can't act?" Yoongi adds, confused still as to why the director would want them.
Jimin shoots him a look and Yoongi shrugs. "What? It's true. The only ones who can act in the group are the two hyungs, Jin hyung and Taehyung."
Everyone ignores Yoongi's joke to continue with the information, "They said the staff even watched your videos and such and found out the characters aren't that far from how you normally behave. So, all you have to do is try and act with the feeling in the script."
"They did all that work for us? What if we don't agree? No matter what?"
"Like I said, the director will get the actors he wishes. It's Director Shinwoo. He's done it before, he's notorious for getting the actors he wants, and you've even seen the movies and greatly enjoyed them."
"Do... how much time do we have?" Jimin asks, already accepting the fact that they're gonna do it. "And, do we get the script?"
They're passed the scripts. "Here. You have lots of time. The line reading is two weeks from now. They changed the schedule according to yours. Filming starts next month. According to the most widespread schedule they've given us, the filming will end around... early next year?"
"So... seven months? We have seven months? When do they plan on releasing the movie?" Yoongi asks, a bit surprised at the length.
"Sometime late next year."
"Aren't they going awfully slow?"
"They want to make it perfect."
Jimin hands over the copy of the script to Yoongi, looking at the title.
"Just One Glass? Is this about drinking?"
"Hm," is all that's heard from Yoongi as they're both flipping through the script.
Bang PD-nim sighs before saying. "I have to be at a meeting in a few minutes. Tell me your official response by tomorrow afternoon. Although you can't really refuse..."
"I'm up for it," Jimin says mindlessly as he's reading. "There's no way my brother committed suicide. Oh! So, it's about crime? This should be interesting."
Yoongi gives him a strange look. "How are you unaffected by this?"
Jimin just shrugs, smiling. "One of my family members is gay. I want to support him."
"Oh..." is all Yoongi can say.
There's a pause before Yoongi speaks. "I guess I'll say yes, too. Can't let Jimin do this alone."
A warm smile is sent towards Yoongi. "That's appreciated, hyung."
"I'll send in your answers, but I really have to be in a meeting. You two can spend the rest of today looking over the script, yeah?"
It's only a few seconds when the two are the only ones in the room.
Jokingly, Jimin mocks out a line from a random page. "You're so heavy, why did you get drunk, again? I thought I said just one glass per day!"
Yoongi raises an eyebrow before he's laughing. "You don't even know what character you're playing."
The stupid realization hits Jimin. "Oh, right. Let me check–" he flips through the pages until he's at the first few, looking over some names.
"Hm... Min Seowon played by Min Yoongi. Park Juseon played by Park Jimin– so I was reading your line just now and my own line earlier." The two are now heading out towards the car so they can go back home.
"Yah, get off my feet, you drunkard. I get to kick you off, wow. This should be fun." Yoongi's words make Jimin pout.
"Ah... look! I get to pull you harshly. Finally my time to shine. Detective, I won't leave you alone until you agree."
"Go ask another detective, I have better cases to deal with."
"You haven't even heard my case!"
"I don't need to" Yoongi snorts at his own line, a faint smile present on his lips in amusement. "They're actually right, this does sound like something I would say."
"Oh! Oh! Turn to page 37! You have to carry me! I am so glad I agreed to this..."
Yoongi shakes his head, mocking a sigh. "As if I haven't carried you before..."
"Whatever, I'm excited!"
"I guess it'll be interesting."

Returning from the script reading session, the two are joking around with low, hushed voices as they enter the dorm, trying not to make too much of noise to disturb others around.
"We were wondering where you two were," Seokjin says, noticing the two enter. Everyone is in the living room, lazing around on their phones. That's what usually happens on their day offs just after a practice day.
"Oh, right, we haven't told you guys, yet."
"Hm?" Hoseok asks, noticing Namjoon's knowing look.
"Jiminie and I, we're going to be acting in a movie."
Taehyung almost drops his plate, eyes widening in shock. "What? And you didn't tell us?!" His face turns excited. The rest also huddle together in front of the two to bombard them with questions.
"So, what's it about?"
"What roles did you get?"
"Is there a female co-star?"
"Do either of you have a kiss scene?"
"Why you two? I'm sorry, but you can't act—"
Yoongi snorts at the last one, "That's what I said."
Jimin giggles at everyone's antics. "Also, one question at a time."
Hoseok starts, "What's the name of the movie?"
Yoongi hums, trying to remember. "Something along the lines of Only One Cup... or was it Glass?"
Shaking his head, Jimin breathes out a laugh, "We literally had the script reading today, how did you forget?"
Rolling his eyes, Yoongi raises his index finger, remembering. "It's called Just One Glass."
"Oh? Is it about drinking?" Taehyung asks.
Jimin chuckles. "I thought the same. Drinking is a repeated pattern in it, not the main story."
"What's the main story?" Seokjin asks.
"My character's brother dies," Jimin starts to explain, "It's concluded as suicide by the police, but my character, Juseon, knows it is isn't."
"And, he asks my character, a renowned private investigator, to investigate this case," Yoongi finishes.
"Ooooh~" Taehyung and Jungkook say in unison, interested.
"So, it's a mystery! That's interesting," Jungkook adds.
"And? Are there female co-stars? Any kiss scenes?" Hoseok asks, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Actually," Yoongi starts, but he stops, letting Jimin continue.
"We're each other's co-stars. Any other actor or actress are all secondary, or lower— suspects and side characters."
"So, no kiss scene?" Hoseok sighs, sounding dejected. He was hoping to get some good teasing out of this.
"Well," Yoongi starts, but yet again leaves it for Jimin to continue.
Rolling his eyes, Jimin resumes, "It's around the end, but... well, I think there's a kiss scene?"
"You think?"
"It wasn't really officialized, we didn't have time to talk about it," Jimin simply says, shrugging.
"Basically, if there is a kiss scene, it's with each other, not some other actress," Yoongi cuts straight to the point he notices Jimin is hesitant on saying.
"Wait, no way, you mean—?" Seokjin stuttered, shock overtaking the other members as well (except Namjoon, who's listening silently, reading on his phone).
Awkwardly, the two nod.
"Yeah... the whole purpose of the film is that, actually..." Yoongi explains.
"What?" Seokjin asks in disbelief. "Why did you two agree?"
"The director is Shinwoo." That makes everyone nod, letting out an 'ah' of understanding. That director is known for always getting the actors he wanted.
"So, there's no way out?" Jungkook asks, eyes wide.
Jimin shrugs. "I would've done it anyway. My cousin is gay, so I'd wanna support him."
Yoongi shrugs when everyone turned to him, too. "I wasn't letting him do this alone when I was asked as well."
The four just stare at the two's bluntness, then start laughing, the known and awaited teasing finally getting its chance to shine.
"Ooooh~ Hyung and Jiminie~" Hoseok sings, getting between the two to put his arms around their shoulders.
Yoongi scoffs, "Shut up."
Everyone laughs. They are all very close, so joking about anything isn't ever uncomfortable.
Namjoon clears his throat, silencing the others. "There's a text from our manager. We're all going to the studio tomorrow for the discussion of the movie, and also for group recording."
The topic of the movie is dropped and everyone starts talking about their next album. With the change of mood, the awkwardness between Yoongi and Jimin is also lost.
They are friends. Best friends. Acting in love won't be that bad.
But, they don't know that playing pretend for as long as seven months can make them very real.
