Preparing for a date?
Hi guys! Thank you so much to all those readers so far! I know that 111 reads doesn't seem like that much, but it means the world to me. Thank you so much, I hope you enjoy this chapter. I had a massive writers block, which is why this took so long. But it's all cleared up now, so you guys should be getting chapters as often as I can post them. Thanks again!
A stream of light poured in from the window and hit me square in the face. I slowly blinked my eyes open, batting my sleep away. I lay there for while, right before I remember.
"I'm actually meeting Curtis today!" I screamed, tearing off my covers.
I run for the bathroom door, so I can take a shower. But as I attempt to turn the handle it doesn't budge. I hear the sound of the showers water running, and the too familiar sound of Fluffys singing.
"FLUFFY! I need the shower!" I yelled, pounding on the door.
"AMPHAROS!" He yelled I got here first!
"I'm meeting Curtis today to give him his xtransciever! And I can't smell like I just got out of bed!" I desperately yelled, pounding on the door even harder.
"AMPHA AMPHA ROS! AMPHAROS AMPHA ROS ROS ROS?!" He yelled Put on some perfume! How do you even know this guy isin't some sicko trying to kidnap you?!
I froze in my place. Fluffy was right. I knew zero about this guy, I didn't even know what he looked like. But if he was being genuine, and it was me in his shoes, I would really like my xtransciever back.
"I can handle myself. Besides, it's back in Nimbasa city, so we can go see mum and dad, and maybe I could make up with Hugo." I note, stopping my pounding.
"AMPHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He yelled FINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I hear a slamming noise, and I step back as Fluffy slams open the bathroom door, a towel around his body and face.
"Ampha Ampha ros." He says As long as I get to do your makeup and pick your clothes.
I roll my eyes. The last time I let Fluffy dress me, was two years ago on casual clothes day at school. He was getting me to try the latest trends and made me dress like some kind of pirate thing. Another factor on why I have no female friends besides Jackie. I have an awful fashion sense, and my Pokemon doesn't like me looking better than him. But what did I have to loose?
"Fine!" I agree.
Fluffy smiles evilly, and walks back into the bathroom, moments later coming out with my makeup kit. I barely use it, but Fluffy demands I take it everywhere. Fluffy points to the nearest chair. I obey, and sit myself down on the small stool. Fluffy instantly gets to work, sending blush up my nose, mascara in my eye, and lipstick on my teeth. As Fluffy works his magic, I begin to feel nervous. I didnt want to see what I looked like. Fluffy had only ever done makeup on other Pokemon, not humans. But I I slowly open my eyes to Fluffys small hand mirror, I see a completely different person. A beautiful woman, with a face that seems to have no makeup but looks perfect. Fluffy had gone with more natural tones, and managed to make me look like a super model. The only think wrong with the image was my bed hair and pyjamas. Before I can point it out, I look over at Fluffy, who's already holding a comb, a straightener, and a pair of scissors. A fake moustache settled on top of his lip.
"You are not cutting my hair." I say, protectively holding my brown long locks.
Fluffy frowns, and puts the scissors back in the bathroom. He comes back moments later and begins combing my hair. The pain was immense, as Fluffy pulled and heaved the comb through my numerous knots. My eyes teared up, and I felt like I needed to constantly sneeze. After about twenty minutes of vigourous brushing, my hair was knot free, and looked really shiny. Fluffy did my hair in one large bun on the back of my head, long locks of hair pulled free, and left me with bangs and long flyaways attached to my bun, which actually looked good. Fluffy nodded his head. He beckoned me to follow him to my wardrobe. Fluffy opened the creaky doors, and came face to face with,
Million pairs of tracksuit pants, one skirt, and a few daggy tops.
Even with my mums help, I wasn't a good packer.
I shrugged as Fluffys jaw wrenched wide open. Fluffy dramatically collapsed on the floor.
"Ampha...Ros." He says, dramatically pretending to die.
"Oh come on, what's wrong with this skirt?" I object, pulling out an orange long wrap skirt.
Fluffy opened one eye, then pretended to die all over again.
"Ampha, Ampha, Ros." Fluffy said wearily orange is out of season.
I threw my hands up high in the air.
"Then what do you suggest I wear?" I asked.
Fluffy froze for a second, then got up with lightning speed. He dashed through the door and out the caravan. I scrambled to follow the crazy fashionista. Fluffy knocked on Jackies door. Ditto slowly opened it. Ditto took one look at Fluffys face, then flung open the door. Fluffy ran in. I walked through the doorway to find a complete bombshell. The setout of the caravan was a lot like mine, except not so old. In fact, it had looked brand new. Clothes and fabrics were strewn everywhere, beautiful colours shimmered in the light, and finished masterpieces hung up everywhere. I finally saw Jackie, at the far corner, hunched over an old sewing machine, with pins sticking out of her mouth and a pair of orange glasses nested on her face. She looked up and smiled.
"What's up love?" Jackie questioned, sticking a needle through a price of purple fabric.
Before I could answer, Fluffy jumped in.
"Ampha Ampha Ampha Ros Ros!" He said she's going on a date with a guy and needs something to wear!
"A date?!" I yelped.
It wasn't like that at all, I was just going to give this guy back his xtranseiver.
"A date?" Jackie questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"It's not like that...he...I found it on the grass..calls me..." I rambled on quietly.
Jackie held up her hand to silence me.
"Whatever it is, its my job ta make ya look the best I can." Jackie protested.
She got up from her seat, and calmly navigated herself through the fabric and clothing. She came to a hault at what looked like it might of been a kitchen. She opened the cupboard, and instead of finding plates, or food, I was greeted with a stunning dress. Jackie pulled it out so I could get a better look. It was a pink sundress, that had a x cross on the back. It was casual but perfect. The dress was actually cut in what looked like my size, with beautiful golden floral patterns at the bottom. Fluffy appeared next to her, holding a pair of golden flats. I felt a tug on my hair, and out of the corner of my eye, I could see ditto putting a gold flower pin in my hair.
"This is all beautiful, really, but I can't just take this from you and..."
"It's yours now." Jackie interrupted.
I take the dress from Jackies hands, along with the shoes from Fluffy, and walked into Jackies bathroom, the only clean place in the entire caravan. I carefully slid on the dress, admiring the amazing handiwork, and how proffesional it looked. I slipped on the shoes, and took a good look in the mirror. I stared long and hard, and tried to find myself. But I couldn't see me. The girl that's scared of the stage was gone, and replaced with a confident, beautiful woman. I took a deep breath, and opened the bathroom door.
"How do I look?" I asked.
Jackie grinned widely, while Fluffy pretended to faint.
"Beautiful love!" Jackie exclaimed, adjusting the dress to fit perfectly.
"Ampha!" Fluffy agreed.
"But how will I actually...you know, get there?" I asked.
Jackie smiled.
"Today must be Jackie help everyone day!" She laughed, running out the caravan.
"What?" I questioned, racing to catch up to her.
I raced out to the front of the caravan, and saw Jackie.
Fluffy came beside me, handing me a bag with my xtransciever, Curtis's, my purse and other essentials. I pulled out a taser, and raised my eyebrow at Fluffy. Fluffy shrugged. Suddenly, my ears felt a soul though they were going to pop. I covered my ears, and looked over at Jackie who was making the horrible sound.
"What are you doing?!" I yelled.
Jackie stopped, and I uncovered my ears. She pointed into the distance. I squinted, and saw a little figure flying in. And fast. In two minutes, a graceful swanna had landed on top of Jackies caravan.
"You have a swanna?" I asked in disbelief.
I stared at the swannas beautiful feathers, and admire s its large wings. It looked strong enough to carry all of us.
"This swanna likes to fly me places. Not ma Pokemon though. She'll take you where you need to be, and back in a jiffy! Hope you aren't scared of heights!" Jackie laughed.
"Exactly how high would I be flying?" I asked.
"Pretty high." Jackie laughed, not sensing my fear.
I gulped.
Hard.
