'LIFE IN PRISON FOR ELITE ANGEL'

'We received word from a source stating that Marian Sterling, also known as the 'Elite Angel' has been sentenced to life in prison. Turns out that this angel wasn't an angel at all, she was more like the devil in disguise, charged with multiple murders and child abuse and endangerment. Marian Sterling was apprehended by the federal bureau of investigation with the help of an anonymous source. Since the arrest of the social butterfly, it is safe to say that everyone is in shock. All except her three children, Simeon, Vivienne and Levi Sterling, the public's heart goes out to them in this trying time.

"It's finally over" Levi croaked. He was trying so hard not to cry but a stray tear escaped the corner of his eye. Relief flooded his body as he saw the headline for the news, the monster in his life was gone, there was nothing else to be afraid of.

With a smile on his face, Simeon hooked his arm around his brother's neck and pulled him into his side. He understood what he was feeling right now because he was also feeling it, the sense of a burden being lifted off of his shoulders. There was no initial fear or was there any need to be on high alert constantly looking over their shoulders.

They were exhausted, both their bodies and minds tired.

Vivienne stood in the doorway of the TV room watching the brotherly embrace, she was happy just to watch them, the happiness that oozed from every pour just at the knowledge that they would never come across that monster again. She thought back to the time in court that they had to testify against their mother, she remembered how Levi thought he was going to collapse on the ground when Marian's darkened stare was directed at them. It just made her and Simeon want to protect him more.

Levi would soon be entering his teens, and he'd get to do what Simeon or Vivienne hadn't. He'd be able to choose to be whatever kind of person he wanted, but of course he along with her and their older brother would have to create themselves.

The Sterling children all realized something when they were finally free from their mother's grasp.

They had no one to tell them what to do.

They didn't know where to go from that point, or who to be, spending their entire lives being what they were expected to be and dancing like a puppet to Marian music, they did not realize just how difficult it was to make decisions for themselves concerning their lives.

Vivienne's feet moved taking her to her brothers; she sat herself down beside Simeon and took his hand, squeezing it tightly.

"Thank you."

The simple words made tears come to Simeon's eyes. Those words held a lot of weight, and it was the kind of weight that he was more than happy to carry.

Huddled together on the large couch, the three siblings wept, they didn't know how, or where to go from that point but they knew that they would make it, they would be just fine as long as they had each other.

They were now puppets without a master, but soon they'd be acting on their own, going down a path that each of them chose.
