You had gotten seriously hurt in a huge bey battle. King was there trying to help you but he couldn't and felt bad. You were laying in a hospital bed. King was holding your hands and whispering somethings to you and you could never hear.

A few days later King came back to your room and took your hands in his and said,"(Y/n), I just want you to know that I love you. I felt so sorry that I couldnt protect you and I'm sorry." King was about to leave until he heard you say,"King is that you?" in a raspy voice. He turned around. "(Y/n)!" He hugged you.

You hugged him back. "King?" "Yes (y/n)?" "You do know that I heard what you said, right?" "Y-you heard me?" He rubbed the back of his neck embarrassed. "Yeah. I just wanted you to know that I love you too." King smiled and kissed your cheek. "Is that all you got?" You said. "What do you mean?" You grabbed King's collar and you pulled him to your face and kissed him on the lips.

You felt him tense up. Then he melted into the kiss. He put one hand on the back of your head and one arm around your waist to pull you closer and deepen the kiss. When you both pulled away you both said,"Wow." You chuckled.

"I love you (y/n)."King said as he hugs you once more.

"I love you too King." You hug him back.

Later that day you were able to leave the hospital. You and King went back to your place and cuddled on your couch. "(Y/n)?" "Hm?" "Never have a bey battle like that again." "Okay." King kissed your head and asked,"(Y/n)?" "Yes?" "Will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes King." You two watched (favorite movie) and cuddled the rest of the night. King had always protected you from that day forward.
