Ephesians 2:12 (King James' Version)
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

I. Bleakness all around.
Deep waters seeking to sink.
Without hope and stricken,
Alienated and without
Any to call mine.

II. Walking down that lane.
Grasping at straws of hope.
To tamper down the voices
Of hopelessness and wretchedness.
Just to flee and never return.

III. At an abrupt moment,
I saw the blinding light.
But couldn't look away.
I was transfixed and attracted
Like a moth to flame.

IV. The Light blanketed me.
While whispering already kept promises.
Of Faith and Hope and Love.
No more running.
I was here in my Happy Ever After.

Before I came to Christ, I was clueless, hopeless and my future looked so bleak. But as I found Him, I found purpose for my life. And even amidst trials and down moments, I have hope and faith that all things work together.
