Fallenstorm's eyes were blazing as he stormed through the jungle forest. He could hear the snapping of twigs beneath the paws of him, Leafheart and Sorrelshine, but the loud noise they were making did not bother him. He listened to their panting, but it meant nothing. If they were tired, they could go home. He needed to get to Breezepaw as fast as possible. He felt tired, but the thought of finding her gave him energy to keep going. He didn't know about Sorrelshine or Leafheart. He smelt the border before they came up to it. They were going to cross into NightClan territory.

"Uh, Fallenstorm, we can't go over there." Sorrelshine hissed. Leafheart nodded. The warrior growled before turning back to the border. He felt distressed about crossing, but he knew he needed to find Breezepaw. He pondered the consequences for a moment- being banished, yet finding Breezepaw, or never finding his best friend and staying in JungleClan. My choice is obvious. Breezepaw, I'm coming to find you.

After an eternity of walking, Fallenstorm, Leafheart and Sorrelshine crossed off of NightClan territory. The sun was peeking over the mountaintops in the horizon as they exited into a territory run by rogues and loners. Fallenstorm half expected to see Dapple and Alex roaming around, but he knew they were long gone. Far away, most likely. The trio walked for a while longer before Sorrelshine started to complain.

"Fallenstorm, I'm tired. Can we take a rest? We've been walking all night." She hissed. The tom turned a harsh gaze on her before he noticed the exhaustion in the way Sorrelshine and his sister followed him. He decided that since he was playing leader, he needed to take care of his cats. His cats- at this moment -were Leafheart and Sorrelshine, and he knew he had to listen to their plea.

"Fine. If we can find a sheltered place, we'll stop and sleep." He reluctantly meowed. Sorrelshine and his sister sighed heavily and followed after him, their paws thudding heavily on the ground.

A few tail-lengths away, they found a dip in the ground, sheltered by an overhanging ledge from the hill beside. Sorrelshine and Leafheart were asleep instantly, leaving Fallenstorm laying awake by himself. He didn't know why, but he felt tears streaming out of his eyes. That's a lie. I know perfectly well. StarClan, show me the way! Am I even close to her? Mouse-dung! Why does everything have to be so difficult? He inwardly complained. Closing his eyes, his head dropped to his paws. A few heartbeats later and he was asleep.

"Fallenstorm."

Fallenstorm's eyes snapped open when he heard the voice of Nightsky. It had been many, many moons since he'd heard her, but her voice stirred something in his mind.

"What? Do you know where your daughter is?" He hissed.

"I do, infact. If you were as kind as to not freak out at the sight of me, I would tell you." Fallenstorm felt determination build in his chest as the words touched his ears.

"You know where she is? This is great!" It was all the tom could do to not bounce around like a kit.

"But, it is a very, very dangerous place. I'm not entirely sure if Breezepaw will be willing to come home. She is quite content with where she is." Nightsky mewed softly. Fallenstorm looked at his paws.

"Well, I have to find her. It's not an option." He told Nightsky, itching to know where his Breezepaw was.

"Relax, Fallenstorm. I will show you the way. I will take you to her, but I cannot promise she'll come back." Nightsky reassured. Fallenstorm felt anxiety bubble in his chest, but he pushed it away.

"Show me where to go, then." He meowed. Everything was starting to fade around him, and soon, he was awake.

"They can't hear me, but you can. I will tell you where to go." Nightsky's voice stung his ears- it sounded so angry.

"Sorrelshine, Leafheart, wake up!" He hissed to the two other she-cats. Sorrelshine glared at him as soon as she opened her eyes, while Leafheart quietly got up.

"I know how to find her." Fallenstorm purred to himself. Sorrelshine have him an uneasy glance.

"That's mousebrained, but lead on. We'll go with you, I suppose." Leafheart growled slowly. Fallenstorm smiled.

"Let's go! There's no time to lose!" He didn't wait for them, and took off sprinting. Nightsky's advice came soon after the dip they'd slept in got out of veiw.

"Right in front of you."
