Welcome back every one, to our Bible study methods. ☺ It is neither my doing nor yours ,but it is God doing that you choose to read this book. The only thing which we can do, not to forget those verse which we have learned is to think about it frequently and apply it in out life .

Let's read together -
12. Therefore my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but much more in my absent, work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
13. For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
14.Do all things without grumbling or questioning
15. That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as light of the world.
16. Holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
17. Even if I amm to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
18. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

Come back to the verse 12 and read it several times.

Q.which word has the most meaning for you? Why did you choose the word?

My answer-
God who works in you and to work for his good pleasure.

I choose these words because- firstly it is God who created me and it will always be him who works in me. And this required my willingness to work with him.
He is always there to works in us but this depends on us whether we give him a room or not.
Secondly- just I've said in the previous verse we live to please Him. Everything we do is to please the Lord not others people.

Q. What does this verse apply to your life now?

My answer-
This verse is telling me to live a life pleasing to God. Whatever I do I must think in this way "Will God be please with my work?" We should always questions ourselves before we start anything. This implies small things like grumbling in things we do. This is one of my weakness and I'm working on this too.
You see a life pleasing to God involve everything you do, even your thoughts because God knows your heart and mind. We cannot hide from God!

Q. What do you need to do in or stop doing in order to live a life pleasing to God?

My answer-
A life pleasing the Lord our God is not easy but it's always worth it. I must submit and fully surrender to God and let Him works in me then only I can live a life pleasing to God. This is hard but I need to practice myself.
