Amara's POV:
One month later

I woke and instantly felt the nausea, running to the bathroom I puked my guts up or at least that's the way it felt. Once I was done I rinsed my mouth, brushed my teeth and left the room.

I went to the kitchen and the scent of eggs hit my nose which made my stomach flip in sickness.. I tried to fight it but couldn't; I ran past Akira, Blayne, Brian and others to the bathroom. I couldn't even shut the door before I was bent over puking, which ended in dry heaving.

I felt someone holding my hair and rubbing my back when I turned to look I seen a very concerned Thomas.

"Baby are you okay?" He asked me, helping me stand. I rinsed my mouth again.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry.." I said weakly. Catching my breath.

He began to say something but I cut him off "really babe.. I'm fine.. please go back to training.." he looked like he was going to argue but then Akiras voice chimed in.

"Ill watch her Thomas, please go back to work." She said.

He sighed and kissed my cheek, "call me if you need me baby. And rest you look pale." I nodded and he left.

Akira came to me and she was smiling brightly, she looked creepy to me. "W-what?" I asked.

She giggled "it didn't take you two very long.."

I stared confused, "what are you going on about?"

"You don't know???" She asked, surprised.

"Know what?!" I asked getting a bit scared, what didn't I know?!

"Your pregnant..." she said simply, "I'm surprised Thomas hasn't noticed yet." She said it almost disapprovingly.

I was sure I looked funny with my eyes wide and my mouth open. "What?! How do you know?"

She laughed and out her hand on my shoulder. "One, your sick. Morning sickness is common. Two, you walk into the kitchen and since it was eggs I'm assuming the smell made you sick. And three, your scent has changed slightly." She stated while I gaped at her.

My hand went to my stomach, "I'm..but.." I felt tears spring to my eyes, "take me to the pack doctor, please.. I need to be sure before telling Thomas." I begged.

She nodded and we left the kitchen. "Blay can you keep Thomas distracted?" She asked and he nodded looking at me with slight curiosity and concern.

"Is everything okay?" He asked and Akira nodded. She kissed him and we left.

I was now laying down with Edna holding the ultrasound stick thing to my stomach. I was nervous, but when she looked at me and smiled I felt the tears I had been holding slip free.

"You are indeed pregnant. Congratulations Amara. Your about a month, and the pup is healthy." She stated.

I nodded and Akira hugged me tightly, "thank you....thank you" I blubbered.

We sat there for a long time when I finally calmed down. We returns to the pack house when I heard Thomas shouting.

We walked in and he was growling at Blayne. I feared what happened.

"You tell me where she is!" Thomas demanded. I quickly moved closer.

"Thomas." I said quietly, he turned to me and his eyes we're black. I knew he was upset. His beast in control. He stalked over to me and pulled me tightly to him, his nose muzzling my neck as he took in my scent. He pulled away his beautiful hazel eyes now back as he stared at me confused.

"You smell.." he sniffed, and I blushed brightly. "Different?" He was confused.

I nodded and grabbed his hand, dragging him with me to the empty living room.

"Thomas," I breathed. "I was gone because I went to the doctor.." he cut me off with bombs of questions.

"Are you okay? Why didn't you tell me? Why wouldn't Blay tell me where you was? I was so worried Amara!" He said breathing heavily.

I stared in shock then burst out laughing. "I love you Thomas... I didn't tell you because I wanted to be sure, and yes I'm fine. Akira asked him to distract you, which you will now have to apologize. For yelling at your Alpha." I said sternly.

He nodded and pouted oh so cutely. "So what's wrong?" He said concern lacing his voice.

I took a breath, closed my eyes and blurted, "I'm a month pregnant..."

Silence, and then more silence. I looked up and at first his face was pale and then it filled with color and happiness. He picked me up making me yelp in surprise. "Oh my god I love you!!! I'm so happy baby.. my pup..." he put me down and got tonhis knees rubbing my still flat stomach, then he kissed it. "I will protect you and your Mommy pup... I promise.." he said.

I smiled, "this... is okay?" I asked to be sure.

He stood and kissed me hungerly "very very okay. You make me so happy Amara.."

I smiled, "good. Shall we go tell the others?" I ask.

He nodded, wrapping his arm protectively around my waist. "If you want." I nod and we walk back to the dinning/kitchen area.

Everyone looked at us, and Thomas sighed. "I apologize for my eh behavior..." he said and Blayne came forward and patted his shoulder.

"No harm my friend. I would have acted the same looking for my 'sick' mate." Blayne said with a smirk.

"Well anyways we have an announcement." Thomas said, and I finished "we're pregannt!" I said happily.

The females squealed and surrounded me gushing about names, and everything else and the males patted Thomas on the back congratulating him and I.

Thomas and I looked at each other, our eyes connecting and I could see all his love and adoration in his beautiful hazel eyes.

I smiled sweetly. Now this, this is how it should be for us mates...
