echo endlessly

he read the words

so perfect and true

with heartfelt pain and emotion

years it had taken

to find them pure

his conviction, absolute devotion

now finally the world

would witness the thoughts

gathered over so many years

yet they echo endlessly

across land and oceans

for there is no one left to hear
