Chapter 2
Cheren kept his eyes glued to the floor as he waited. The tiles were flawless.
'Wow. I am bored.' He thought to himself and sighed. The door chimed and he glanced aside, seeing a familiar, green haired boy.
"Hello Cheren." He greeted with a soft smile. Cheren slumped his shoulders and sighed. "Hey N." He muttered. N gave him a confused look, and sat next to the young trainer.
"There's something bothering you... What is it?" He asked. Cheren chuckled a bit. N could always tell when he was having trouble, and refused to leave his side until the problem was resolved.
"I found a girl hurt by the fountain... So I brought her here. I have no idea if she's okay." Cheren murmured, his eyes still glued to the tiles. The tiles were faded yellow.
"Is... That so? Would you mind... Describing her to me?" N asked, cautiously. Cheren shrugged. "She had long, dark brown hair, violet eyes... She had a white cap on... And scarf. Her clothes were too tattered and bloody for me to see the colour." He replied.
N blinked. "... I see... Er..." He glanced away and sighed. "I'm sure she'll be alright. She seems to be a strong girl." He replied and stood up, walking off slowly.
"Yea-wait, how would you kno-?" Cheren lifted his head to find N gone. He sighed defeated and started tinkering with his Xtranceiver.
N's sure a strange guy.
