What's up folks?

I had some time to kill today so I decided to do a good, well explained tutorial for everyone who benefits from these.

So these are the pictures I used for the cover:

The first two pictures are from deviantart and the last one is from pinterest.

In the first steps, I worked on merging the two pictures of Felicity Jones because the blue jacket she was wearing didn't fit into the cover I had in my mind.

I thought using another picture of Felicity in a dress that I liked would be easy for merging because you know, the same person, same skin colour. But when lighting and all of that is involved...

Let's just say I was wrong.

I wasn't perfect in shadowing and colouring but her neck looked fine so I left it like that.

Next, I placed the mask over her face. But to give the mask more depth, I divided it into pieces. Then placed them one by one, rotating the left side a little bit more.

I added a filter but then decided to darken the surrounding area a bit more before that.

I have no idea why I added those shadow effects to her dress.

I then added the random title and had the texts on 'overlay' effect. The font I used for the title is Lavanda.

That's the end of the tutorial but here is the manipulated cover without the title or my watermark.

I am sorry that it is not a png but for some reason the Over app doesn't allow me to save pngs.

I don't expect any credit if you do end up using them, I just hope that you like them and that they will help you in your further designing :)

I recently opened a deviantart account (username: blakealexander) I'll be putting the manipulated works as I do them so you can get the pictures also from there.

Here are some more examples to what I did with the cover.

I changed the title, added violet eyes, purple hues to her hair and made the mask I had smaller.

Again just made her eyes whitish and added glowing white lines to her background.
