"Sanyukta. How will we handle her Parth? She will freak out when she learns about Ruhaan's accident." Vidushi was freaking out thinking of her reaction. Her health condition was already critical and telling her about Ruhaan's accident added to their worry.

"Sanyukta? Is She Ruhaan's mother by any chance? " asked the curious lady.

"Yes. She is not well and telling her this news could be dangerous for her. But we can't hide it as well. She will know as soon as she see's him. A scratch on him worries her and when she hears that he had been in an accident, she would loose it. She loves her son a lot." Vidushi completed panicking at what should be done.

"Well if you don't mind. Can I talk to her?" The lady asked surprising everyone in the room.

"Are you sure? I mean she doesn't even know you. She might react violently." Replied a confused vidushi.

"Just let me try. I promise I wouldn't stress her out." The old lady, Rani said confidence radiating from her voice.

Vidushi looked towards Parth who gave her a small nod with his eyes fixed on the women who saved Ruhaan. While the poor soul looked too confused to react.

"Okay if you say so. Just please be careful. She just underwent a severe cardiac arrest. She is very delicate right now, so I would advice you to choose your words wisely." Vidushi said, with worry clear in her eyes.

"Don't you worry about that. If I feel am unable to handle the situation or she is getting stressed, I will back out and call out for you." Said the old lady thus calming vidushi's inner turmoil.

The old lady walked out leaving them in a daze. One looked hopefull while the other looked suspicious.

Sanyukta was confused when she woke up to the smell of medicines and  found herself in a hospital. She panicked as she failed to notice vidushi or parth.

'How did I reach here?' Wondered Sanyukta when a voice put a pause to her train of thoughts. She turned towards the voice to see an unknown  lady standing near her bed.

"You went into a cardiac arrest and your friends brought you here." Said the old lady and realisation dawned upon her. But then who was the lady she wondered again and why did she look so familiar.

"Oh yes, how rude of me. Mera naam Rand..Rani" the lady said forwarding a hand for a handshake while Sanyukta had her eyebrows raised challenging her introduction.

"I am Rani D. 'D' for D'suza." She clarified to which sanyukta gave her a 'why are you telling me this?' look.

"You were so worried for your son that you went into a cardiac arrest." The lady's words were like a splash of ice cold water. And that's when she realised!  Her son was missing and she was sleeping peacefully instead of searching for him.

Sanyukta tried to free herself from the saline and tubes attached to her when the lady said something stopping her midway.

"Relax.Your son is fine Sanyukta." Rani said realising her turmoil.

"How..how do you know my son." Sanyukta stammered looking at the old women intently.

"Your son is such a good boy. I meet him today by chance. He was lost and was looking for his mamma. Now he wouldn't like to see his mother like this though. Don't you think ?"

"You meet him?  He was asking for me? But where is he now? Where are vidushi and Parth? Is he fine?" Sanyukta asked her queries one after the other leaving no space for the old lady to talk.

"When Ruhaan came to meet you. He slipped and fell in the corridor. So he was a little hurt. But other than that he is fine. " She assured sanyukta with her smile.

"He is hurt? I want to see him. Can you take me to him please. " Sanyukta's eyes brimmed with tears as her hands ached to gather him in her arms.

"Mumma" little RSS called out to his mother accompanied by Vidushi and Parth who looked ready for her outburst which never came.

"Ruh. .Ruhaan."

And within seconds they were in each others arms, shedding silent tears. She was squeezing him when a wince from him froze her. She broke their hug, checking for any sign of injury. His head was wrapped in a white hand, blood patch clearly visible. He hand minor injuries in his hands other than that. She kissed his injured hand and forehead while the little soul was scared to see his mumma admitted in the hospital.

"Mumma aapko kya hua?" Asked the innocent child while Vidushi and Parth exchanged glances.

"Ruhaan baba, your mumma is not feeling well. She works too much right.. so she got very tired. She will take some rest and will be alright by morning. Okay?" Rani said caressing his cheeks while Ruhaan listened to her with full concentration. He nodded lightly hidding his face in his mother's embrace.

"So will you take care of your mother?" The lady asked the cute little boy who looked more cute with his button nose glowing red.

"Yes. Ruhaan Singh Shekawath will take care of you mumma." The boy exclaimed with authority while the others present in the room were in awe of him. Sanyukta looked towards the lady with a slight smile.

"How can I ever thank you?" She asked the lady who did nothing but smile at her innocence.

"You don't need to."

"But I want to. Please atleast tell me your address. I want to thank you properly." Sanyukta insisted. The lady turned numb and looked at her with moist orbs.

"I don't have one."

Sorry for the late update. Exams starting soon and had to get done with all my assignments and projects. Hope you liked the chapter. Hospital drama is finally over and time for step 2..
