Kelly ran his hands through Jade's hair,all the time squeezing her sweaty hands.

He could feel her heart thumping wildly,and knew exactly what she was thinking.

And yes!he was going to get what he wanted from her,and fast too.

Kelly was Jade's first boyfriend. Chocolate skinned,with coffee coloured hair,he coaxed the sense out of her head,the very first day they met.

Who wouldn't fall for the most handsome sports guru,in "Saints Shs? Tall,and heavily built,with a tooth gap,and blessed with a dimple,he could make any girl drool..

Kelly Rogers!Kelly Rogers! The hails were in order for Kelly,as he jumped and threw the ball straight into the net. Clean cut..Jade noted,and nodded.

He was quite good at basketball,but the girls were giving him too much attention,it made his head bloat.

He's way too full of himself..Jade snorted as she walked by with her friend. oh cmon guurrll!he's such a hottie! You can't blame him?
Abby exclaimed,putting on her most dramatic look.
"Tell me about it,you whore".Jade replied as her friend,convulsed with laughter.

Saints Shs was a boys school,that was close to Rainbow girls Shs. After completing Rose petals educational complex,and passing with flying colours,Jade gained admission to Rainbow girls.
Her dad was alive,at the time and made sure,he frustrated her enough with his alcohol addiction,she just had to be a boarder,although the school was quite close to their house.

It broke her,that young kerry would be the bearer of his insults,and beatings,whilst she was in school but she couldn't help it.

What Milan,made sure of though,was to foot her school bills,on time and make sure her physical needs,were appropriately met,even though the absence of her mum,during her teenage days,were emotionally tormenting.

Of course,Milan died during her final year,in high school and she had to cater for herself, through to the tertiary level.

Well, it was the time,for a fierce match between high schools,and all the neighbouring schools around,had to meet up at Rainbow girls shs,because it had a vast playground that was just what was needed,for the match.

No sensible student would want to miss that battle between their respective schools,for anything in the world.

It came as no surprise however,when Jade wouldn't budge about the whole thing.Whilst her colleagues were hysterically excited about how they were going to dress,to kill,Jade couldn't care less.

Jade!!!!you drive me nuts!wake up right now dammit! Abby Drew, her "best,and only friend shouted on top of her voice as she came into her dorm,and saw her sprawled on the bed,like nothing was at stake.

Keep your voice down Ab..she replied curtly,as she removed her cover cloth,and rubbed her eyes.

What in heaven's name,was all that yelling for??she asked,moistening her lips,and trying to look like a wild cat.

"Have you forgotten,what day,today is?? Sports week starts todayyyy!sports dayyy!Abby stressed enough,for Jade to understand.

Thirty minutes later,Jade was still ptotesting about how she couldn't care less,the number of cute guys,that will be around,as she was practically being dragged to the ball court, by the excited Abby.

It was there they saw Kelly Rogers,in his element.
Able-bodied,and quite talented with the ball.Thunderous claps arose,especially amongst the girls,who were focusing more,on his body, than his talent.

Abby and Jade were strolling, hand in hand after the match,when they got distracted by a hissing male sound.
Sssssss..hey girls..Kelly called as he ran after the two girls...

"Oh what's the high and mighty,Kelly tryna prove,by stopping us?Jade muttered under her breath,as she nudged her equally surprised friend.
I wish I knew..she muttered back,with a crooked smile.

Well hey the two girls replied back..

Fast forward,it came as a hard hitting surprise to a few people,who heard about Jade and Kelly's little 'affair ". She was beside herself with worry,about the kind of jests people made about her,and how they described Kelly as a 'women lover."

'He'd follow anything in skirt" her classmates would gossip as she passed by.

How it all actually happened,remained a mystery to her,and all she knew was,she liked Kelly way too much,to let him go.The short period she used to get to know him more lulled her to him,each and every day.

Jade would go to bed,eyes wide open,as she reminisced about the words he'd poured into her ears,and how lovingly he'd touch her during their little escapades.

'Haaaa..a soft laugh echoed from her(jade's) mouth,and she moistened her lips, as she talked..
I don't know what happened Ab..I just think I really like kelly now,and it turns out he's a nice guy..You said,he's a hottie too,remember?

'Urrghhh of course I did but'..listen Jady..Kelly is a cutie,but the kind of things I hear about that guy,really scares me.For your own good,pls quit this madness!

Abby was trying to convince her friend,but it seemed not to work.
How was she supposed to tell her,Kelly and his friends just went on a bet,and he had actually won?

A bet for the most reserved girl,in rainbow girls!who thought all guys were scum,and who had such high air of arrogance.

He'd done all he could to win her over, and the next big feat was to break her virginity,and all his friends would give him that maximum respect he so much desired.

As they sat in Kelly's living room during school hours as usual,he wrapped his arms around her, and felt her shiver. She'd missed class again!Abby was so going,to kill her.
Kelly..I need to go.
Jade uttered,as her lips quivered.

"Cmon don't tell me,you're scared..If you go back to school now,I don't know when we'd meet again.Remember how tight,your school rules are.

"Look here..he said cupping her face in his palms. I won't hurt you ever.
Do you understand?God!she trusted him so much!of course,he wouldn't hurt her.. He loved her..oh yes he did.
Nodding like a confused lizard,she let her feelings override her senses.

Drugged with her love for him, Jade's self control,flew out the window,as she felt his lips on hers. Grabbing her hair,he carried her like a weightless bag into his bedroom.

As Kelly parted her thighs,he did justice to the promise he'd made to his friends.And her scream,marked the beginning of her heartbreak,as pleasure mixed with pain, racked her body,and red fluid endorsed their illegal union.

Digging her nails into his back,she urged him into her world,of innocence and pure young love.
A smile crossed Kelly's lips..well finally..he quizzed as his mouth came down,and devoured hers,hungrily and hurriedly..

The wound Kelly drew in her heart, after using her,caused an unbelievable turning point in her life.
After finding out how he had lied, and only tolerated her,for a common bet,she went  crazy.

She only had her brother,who gave her enough strength to move on,and be great.At a tender age,Jade learnt the wickedness of man,and barred her heart so furiously,not even an ant could enter.

Even through her days in tertiary,she wouldn't tolerate any man,who tried to get close to her.

She saw them as threats,to her sound thinking,and struggle.
No one knew except Abby,how she was the sole guardian of her younger brother kerry,and how she was footing her own school bills.She maintained her focus, till the completion of her degree in the tertiary,and meant to keep it that way.

Never again,was she going to let any man,born of a woman lie to her. Her dad,was a sorry mistake of a man,when their mum left,and the only right thing he did,was safely leave behind his vast company to her brother after his death.

At least,they survived off it,if not for anything else.But men in general,were questionable beings,and she wasn't ready to tackle another in her present,depressive situation.

Not even if his name was Ben Leige,and he seemed like a nice man,who's been at her heels for months.

Not even after she'd broken down,in his arms, blabbing God knows what,as he rubbed her back,and made her feel better.

Not even if he and Kerry,were such great buddies. She wasn't willing to ever let her heart be toyed with again.

She'd show him, how to give up once and for all..
Jade looked up at Ben,as he held her wrists,and told him how totally fine,she was.
No need to worry hey..I'm cool.She faked a smile,made sure he noticed,and tore his hands,off her..
