Sosososo sorry for not updating! This chapter is kind of short.

Hayden's POV:

I lick my lips at the food in front of me. "Thanks so much, Evan."

"No problem, Denny." He smiles, as he takes a bite of his sushi.

Prom was last night, and it was amazing. That's all I could say, because there was no other way to say it. We finally kissed, and I was happier then ever.

"So, how was Prom?"

"It was amazing." I smile, picking up some sushi.

"Oh? How so, baby sister? Do tell."

"We talked, and danced."

He yawns, "Sounds boring."

"But, the thing is, it was the best time of my life. It may seem simple to you, but just being in his presence meant the world to me."

"Well, fine." He smirks, laughing.

After dinner, I head up to my room, and send Louis a text.

From: Hayden

Hi, Louis (:

I lay on my bed, and put my earphones in. And I just let my mind think.

*FLASHBACK*

I am awoken by hushed whispering, and rub my eyes, opening my door just a crack. My mom and dad are both outside of my bedroom door, fighting.

"It's mine, Martha! You can't just whore around with other men, and then expect me to just hand over-" My dad hisses, but is soon cut off.

"I married you! I deserve at least half of it!"

"Half? You don't even deserve a penny! I earned it while you did nothing all day!"

I had no idea what they were talking about, but I still listened.

"I want half! If not, you'll be s-"

My door creaks open a bit, as I push it open, my thumb placed in my mouth.

"Daddy?"

"Yes, Princess?" His angry demeanor fades, and turns happy.

"Why are you and mommy fighting?"

"It's nothing, baby. How about we go get some ice cream, then head back to bed?"

"Will you sleep in my room?" I ask, as my eyes look over at my mom behind him.

"Of course, let's go get some."

He walks over to me, and picks me up, "This discussion isn't over!" My mom says, angrily.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

My eyes snap open, and confusion hits me. Why would I now remember this? How could I remember this?

I didn't remember this for nothing. I was now determined to find out what they were talking about.
