Hayden's POV:

At Louis house as soon as I get there, he pulls out beer and starts drinking it. "Want one?"

"I'm good."

"Come on, baby." He grins.

"Okay." I finally agree, taking one from his hand.

A few hours later—and a few beers—Louis and I sit drunk on his couch. My mind is full of questions to ask him, and I usually wouldn't ask them, but I decided to.

"Lou?"

"Yeah?" He asks.

"Don't you love me?"

It's completely silent and I let out a deep breath, "I don't love anybody."

I turn desperate as I take his hand, "I can see it in your eyes, you do love me Louis. Please don't push me away..."

"Fuck off, Hayden!" Louis barks which results in tears streaming down my cheeks.

After our fight, I storm out and head to Jasmine's house. I needed to talk, and I knew she'd listen. I knock, and she opens it surprised. "Where were you today?"

"With Louis."

She lets me inside, and I sit on her bed with tears free falling. "What happened?"

"He doesn't love me, Jas."

Her mouth falls open, "That's not true."

"I told him I loved him, and he resented me!"

Jasmine hugs me, because that's all she can do. "I'm tired." Cries leave my lips effortlessly. "And it is so awfully difficult to feel sad and tired when all you want to do is feel alive."

"Why don't you leave him?"

"I love him too much."
