"Guys I have an idea" I say zooming into the living room, slamming my hands on the desk making their attention snap to me. "We should throw a party"

"What's the occasion?" Grayson asks

"We're going to celebrate my accomplishment"

"Which is?"

"Me drinking Animal blood even though it tastes bitter compared to Humans"

"Alexa" Ethan sighs "You've only drank it once, we don't know if you always will"

"I knew you would say something along those lines then I would say say don't worry about it E you can trust me"

"This is no-"

"No I don't care what either of you say" I cut Grayson off "I am having a party, here, tonight and I'm going to prove it to you"

They both stare at me in confusion and I roll my eyes.

"Do I really have to spell it out to you. I'm inviting Humans to the party and you will see exactly what I mean"

"This isn't a good idea" Grayson says

"No it isn't" Ethan agrees

"You guys are right, this isn't a good idea" I pause "this is an amazing idea. I've got so much to plan"

"Alexa wa-"

"The longer I stand here talking to you, the less time I have to organise things, which no offence is more important" I add rushing out of the room towards my own.

"This whole thing you've planned has to be cancelled" Ethan states coming into my room.

"Or you just need to lighten up" I turn to face him "Now what do you think of this?" I ask holding a short black dress in the air.

"It's nice but this can not happen. You're putting people at risk"

"I was thinking silver shoes" I add ignoring his previous statement

"Alexa"

"Ethan"

"I'm being serious, you need to cancel"

"And I'm being serious, you need to lighten up" I pause "Tonight's going to be great I promise"

"I can't have much fun if I'll be babysitting you"

"I'm 17 I don't need a babysitter, just get ready you'll feel better when it all starts" I laugh pushing him out the room.

I finish securing my hair and I take one last look in the mirror.

"Woah" I hear Grayson say from beside me "you look beautiful"

"Thanks"

"It's like Da Ja Vu right?" He adds and I look at him "Hopefully you don't try killing us tonight"

"Right" I laugh "Hopefully you don't have to Hunt me again tonight"

He stares at me for a couple of seconds and I feel something I haven't felt in a while. I felt happy.

"May I?" he eventually asks breaking the silence

"Of course" I smile placing my hand in his own. My gaze drops to the floor and I remain stuck in the same place.

"What's up?"

"I was just thinking" I answer

"About?"

"What I would be doing in life right now if I'd never met you or E"

"I'm really sorry about everything" he whispers and I could hear the sadness laced in his voice "I never kne-"

"It's okay" I cut him off "I'm actually glad we crossed paths, other wise I'd probably still be working in that café. Whereas now, I finally feel free"

He squeezes my hand tighter and I lightly smile "come on, we have a party to start"

We zoom down the stairs and into the living room that was now crammed with dancing people.

"I never thought I would say this, but I can not wait to party" Grayson chuckles before going to find Ethan

"And I can not wait to prove to you exactly as I said" I smirk as my eyes glanced around the room.
